Personally, this is the only thing that made me change my choice for the next phone I'm going to buy. Most android phones in the mid-range price are trash; overheating, lag, sluggish touch screens, stupid speakers, the list goes on. As for flagships, I've used most of samsungs "s" series up to S10, and had experience working with some other high-end devices here and there; non of them felt as snappy as an IPhone to me. I've never owned an IPhone before and my experience with IOS isn't that much, But I've heard about It's limitations and Still I'm gonna try it out. I know I went off topic, but what I want to say is that not all the sluggishness of android phones is because of talkback, sometimes it's the phone itself. Commentary helps make it somewhat better, but not many people know about it and It's a third party app, meaning that fewer people have the chance to use it. Now If huawei, xiaomi or any other Chinese manufacturer could offer CSR pre-installed, it'd be something else.an other thing I don't like in most android phones is their speakers, I haven't been able to find an android phone with decent audio quality yet, the best I've heard was a high-end phone from "LG" and still it wasn't as good as an Iphone 8, or anything higher than that. I might be wrong in this, so I appreciate any other Ideas. I know that reaper works and has a lot to offer in terms of accessibility thanks to OSARA, but it's not very well known at least where I live, where everyone uses Steinberg cubase and other daws like that. It's only advantage is that it's a bit cheaper, their official apps aren't that good, but when I have total commander, I won't worry about that. What I like to have in a cloud storage is a feature similar to files on demand in onedrive. Dropbox has that as well, but it's in the pro plan which is expensive and not worth it. Direct links are also useful, but google drive does not have that feature. There are tricks to get direct links from cloud services like dropbox or onedrive; Even google drive had one, but it doesn't work anymore because of their antivirus. I think the only provider which gives direct links officially is BOX. I've had the worst experience ever with their windows app but they give FTP access which makes things a little better. The h6 driver is so messed up and has high latency, but with asio4all I can get it down to 64ms. It's too bad we aren't able to share the device with screen readers at the same time though. Unfortunately, I don't know a device which could do that, other than komplete audio series@jackthe driver included with fl studio can't bring the latency lower than 256ms, or at least I think so. any ideas on how to lower it down? This might not be easy to do though.this happens because your phone has an audio modification library by default (dolby atmos), and that library isn't optimized to accept both accessibility and media volume at the same time.the only solution that I know is to root your phone, and install an audio modification library patch. If you use magisk, there are a few libraries that disable that part of the library, so all sounds go through without a problem. reaper just slowed down after nvda update Hi everyoneapparently, reaper has decided it was fast enough and has become very laggy after installing the latest NVDA Update. it's not bad when doing things, (E.G. playing, processing and stuff) but navigation truly sucks! I have to wait for half a second for the next item shortcut to work, same with tracks. I don't think It's reaper though, because when I press the space button for playing, reaper starts playing immediately, but NVDA announces it after half a second.this has happened to me before, but NVDA wasn't the problem back then, I didn't find out what caused it, so I restored my pc back with a system restore and It just got fixed. Now the problem is back, and it started with NVDA update. Any ideas? Re: simbian phone recommendation I was always behind in technology. My first phone was a bulky Nokia 6600. I had that phone When everyone was using simbian s3, but I had so much fun with it. There were apps that allowed doing some nasty things to other phones by connecting to them via bluetooth and getting admin access or something like that. It was possible to take their files for yourself, copy their contacts and then completely wipe it from that phone, make someones phone play music in their pocket, even calling and text messaging was on the list! then I got a nokia E71, and used it until 2015 when I couldn't stand It's lack of mane-stream apps, hell, even whatsapp was going to drop support for It soon. Even now, I wish there was an android phone as small and beautiful as my nokia e71. The only problem I'm having with that driver is that I can't bring my buffer size lower than 256, while my sound card supports less. I can bring it down to 64 with It's own driver. Is there something I might be missing or doing wrong?
