Re: aprone's games

LOL Swamp happened. Patching up and working on Swamp has taken up much of his time. Kamochek, so far as I know, all of Aprones games are not beta. They may be smaller games, but not beta. Now that Swamp is under control, he will go back to working on making bigger games now. Castaways is probably the biggest game other than Swamp?URL: http://forum.audiogames.net/viewtopic.php?pid=171851#p171851

Re: shadow gate?

Ive got a problem not listed on the website. I can e-mail the devs if nobody has an answer here.Last night, I loaded, unzipped, started, and was playing the game fine for several instances. I put my computer into sleep, and came back to play. Heres the bug I get.I start the game as normal, and hear the beginning of the intro story with the wizard and all. Right after, The druids words ring in your ears, the story stops and pressing keys doesnt make the game do anything. I hit alt f4, and sappy reads out the rest of the intro story. When its done, the program closes.Ive tried restarting my computer and the game. I initially thought some process wasnt ending correctly, and that I should force kill something, but I didnt see anything that looked related to the game.Ideas?also, you can easily Google Shadowgate walkthrough to find help with the game.URL: http://forum.audiogames.net/viewtopic.php?pid=167414#p167414

Re: User Guide for Accessible Second Life Client

I checked out the SL client for fun yesterday, and yes, I did read through the accessibility guide.1. Ive noticed an annoying lagtime with Jaws when you tab or arrow through the client. Maybe this isnt present with NVDA. I havent tried.2. How do I change the look of my avatar? I saw animations and bodyparts in the inventory menu, but couldnt figure out how to really manipulate them.3. Is your username the same as your character in SL? So if Im riding a horse down the street, will my username be the character? Im used to RPGs, so this may be a bit of a switch in thinking for me.URL: http://forum.audiogames.net/viewtopic.php?pid=167128#p167128

Re: User Guide for Accessible Second Life Client

Im still very much trying to figure the client out. I did a place search for free and went to two freebie stores. Even though doing the //find object command may be easier, I used alt 7 for an object search, just to see. The second place I visited claimed to have free skins for your avatar, but in the search list, all the objects were owned by people, and had odd unhelpful object names much of the time. For fun, I navigated down to an object, and clicked buy for 0l dollars. Nothing happened, so I clicked take. I got a message about the permissions system not allowing you to take items from the simulator. so Im still pretty confused about basic mechanics like this.URL: http://forum.audiogames.net/viewtopic.php?pid=167195#p167195
