Would it be possible to ad some sort of string to the unit file so you could write attacks for the different units...X attacks Y for Z damage! ... Is kinda boring. My idea goes a bit like this...Say that the kitsune deals 30 percent of its maximum damage. A line in the unit file could then be something like33=A sneaky kitsune snarls and bites at $1, with a damage of $2The 33 would just mean that the line would show up in the battle report if the damage was lower than a third of the maximum...Just an idea, not sure how hard it would be to make, but it would result in some quite awesome logs! Weird... If Im in ... lets say the battle report ... and press a key on the keyboard it just plays the sound again, and reads the line Im on. Another thing... Is it possible to make the game save the battle reports in a file, like the chat log in Swamp.And i guess Ill put this piece I just made in the DB folder. Its a kitsune, a japanese fox spirit. Just managed to win a battle in 25 turns only using kitsunes, short guys, and bartenders in the last third...I tried reentering the line, and now I get an error in the speed line from the bartender. Someone suggested that the errors could come from another character than the one reported. I tried removing the tall guy, and that seemed to help. I just put him back in, and the errors about the short lady reappeared. Quite weird.Seems like the problem shall be found in the character right after the one getting reported. The one after Short lady is Tall guy, the error mentions the rof=*. Tall guys rof is .75. @Cae: Glad you like the kitsune, I tried to both make it effective and somewhat cheap at the same time. I myself am using them quite a lot, along with short guy and bartender. Havent tried that many of the others yet, Im still trying to make my own Little army of interestingness. @Aprone: I dont think the bonus should go away immediately, but rather as someone else said, lower a bit. What about one point/death of friendly unit on the Square? As a player though, Im not too happy about it, but it would definitely add to the tactical part of the gameplay... It sounds like its gonna be a really interesting place to explore. Since the World is so large, will there be any kind of teleportation/waypoint system, or would you actually have to run for 30 minutes to get to another town youve visited?...I think I had another question too, but now Ive forgot it. When thinking about it, I guess you should also be able to use that in another recipe, but Ive got no idea about what thatd create then...Oh, and I love the recipe for crickets, though it doesnt make that much sense to me. High Price and only ONE chance!$100 might be too high, or ... well, if they truly want to play and wont cheat, hack or anything Again, then... I dont know... Grrr!But yeah... If you decide to sell get-back-in-for-XXX-dollars-tickets, then at least make it clear that theyll only get that one extra chance...And a high Price to make sure theyre serious. It might sound like a kinda harsh thing to do, but... Well, they are the bad Guys in this, so...I dont really know whether to say yes or no... If you let them back in by making them able to pay for a chance, then they could just go and do some of their -not-really-that-great-stuff Again... And then get banned permanently, but still forcing you to spend precious time on fixing the problems theyve caused... People can read the rules, or get someone to translate them if they dont understand English.Hmm... Am I the only one WHO would just take it Down and let us have the campaign feature to play with? This is probably what the hackers want, but it will save you, Aprone, from having to spend tons of time on fixing something, or trying to fix something, that might just reappear a few weeks later when the hackers find a new way around it.Had I been you I would have taken the server offline a long time ago. You ended the Development in april, and now, four months later, youre still working on it.
