Re: Blind youtubers?

I am a blind youtuber, I have for now all videos in romanian, but here is how I record them:1: Record them with my phone, with help from someone with the back camera or alone with the front one.2: I send them to someone to keck the qualiti.3 and the last: I uppload them or put some background music with soundforge before upploading.

Re: Blind youtubers?

I'm running two youtube channels, one for tutorials and entertainment in croatian language and one for my own music where most of my songs are in croatian. I'm using tunestotube service for creating and uploading videos, because I really don't wanna mess up with Windows Movie Maker since wmv videos are usually of worse sound quality. For making music, I'm using Reaper. For recording tutorials and stuff I'm using nothing more than my external USB sound card from Creative and it's What You Here feature, which will work under any sound editor and recorder. In Creative control panel, I have a checkbox to output my voice input, and it allows me to record my computer and my voice at the same time.

Re: Blind youtubers?

The sm-57 is designed for instruments and that in itself costs around $100, most xlr mics will. If budget is a concern, you're best going for something like apex microphones... which will cost less and are good for someone who is recording simply for fun.

Re: Blind youtubers?

You have several options when it comes to recording sound from macOS. You can purchase a dedicated hardware mixer and connect it to the Mac. The mixer becomes an input and output device you can select in your recording app of choice. Just set the output of the system or VoiceOver to the mixer.Your other options involve downloading software and configuring it. There used to be a great free system extension called Sound Flower, but that hasn't been updated in years. You can also purchase Loopback for $100. I personally don't think it's worth the asking price. I'd suggest purchasing a mixer and XLR microphone. This works across all platforms and enables you to record audio for all kinds of tasks aside from gaming.editHere is the link to the rather long video I put together regarding capturing audio. I also included links to all the stuff I use which will run you a litttle over $100. That price isn't bad if I do say so myself. I don't have the most advanced audio equipment in the world, but it works for what I want to do. The only thing I'm considering is an xlr microphone. Any good recommendations?https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Qy8hlNSGTyc

Re: Blind youtubers?

I am a blind youtuber.  My channel ishttp://www.youtube.com/dwrhythm.  I do drum covers, demonstrations/tutorials, and reviews.  I also have some car audio stuff and rock band stuff, back from when I could see.I use Windows Movie Maker on my PC.  All video is 1080p from my iPhone 6s Plus. When I do my drum covers, there are additional steps I take for videos since I have to line up audio.Steps I take:1. Record video using phone.  If I'm doing a drum cover, then I record the audio with my recording software (Sonar X3) simultaneously.2. Upload videos to PC.3. Open Movie Maker and import videos in order you want them to appear in.4. Use this time to cut, edit, trim, and even add effects and transitions if desired (optional)5.  Add narration or audio description if you want (I will start doing this with my own videos soon) using the audio functions in Movie Maker.  You can also add background music as well and cut/trim it as well.6. Save movie as video for YouTube.  The file size is much smaller than default, by about 1/4 the size, and is just as good of quality, according to friends who watch my videos and give me feedbacki. For me, I do things a bit different for some videos due to the nature.  I will after this point, import videos to Sonar X3 and line up audio as I see fit and record anything else as I desire, then render as MP4 for YouTube.Windows Movie Maker is accessible with Jaws and NVDA.  I know NVDA you need a free script, I believe, but it gets the job done well enough for me, and was really simple to figure out.If you need any further help, feel free to ask.

Re: Blind youtubers?

I was actually wondering chris, how do you record your mac sounds like voiceover? I can't seem to do that in audacity the same way I can in windows, and quicktime player doesn't seem to capture computer audio either.

Re: Blind youtubers?

I like Liam irvin's channel, and this other guy who's channel is called "the tommy edison experience".He doesn't do games, and he's pretty mainstream, mostly explains stuff to sighted people, but he's a nice, funny guy, and he gets to do some cool stuff that I wish I could do, less mess with three d shapes and such.

Re: Blind youtubers?

I'm a blind YouTuber! My channel is blindgamer95 if you wish to check it out. I know, the name is kind of stupid. I'm considering whether I should change it or not. Also, I was not born in 1995 but 1997.I record lots of demos of audio games. I record the files as .wav first and then use a converter program on macOS called Adapter to convert them to a .mp4 file which YouTube uploads with no issue. I don't think there are any graphics in the videos, but I don't really care.
