Re: Book Reading Device Recommendation What I would do now is grab a fire 8 or 8 plus, stick the playstore onto it, get voice dream and you have the voice view voices, along with Acapela to read.The os is also nice and accessible.I used to recommend the fire 7, but after using someone's 2019 which is the latest, I say a loud and clear no no.It is slower than my 2017, the battery is much, much worse and the speaker isn't much better either, even that it is on the side of the device.My 2017 still works well enough for what I use it, but I am looking to replace it some time next year, since I don't find it worth it to replace a fully functional device that with my tweaks does what ever I need it to do. Re: Book Reading Device Recommendation yeah, after buying 2 book readers i am recommending to buy an android phone for thesame price, it'll be much better and will be able to o more for ya than stupid plastic thing with very old technology and limited operating system.The same is with phones for the blind like blind shell, and others, just not worth it.Regards.
