Odd, because I was told that they had actually opened through KeyBRF already and got the error, but they could have somehow misinterpreted that, so I'll try that.Edit: Just had a mental jolt: the original file name (P7.3 Changes in the nucleus.brf) contains all the chars you said were allowed in your post. Really wish I had an actual unit or some sort of emulator with me. It'd really help! I downloaded it, and was able to open the file, and read its contents without any problems whatsoever. I opened it through the KeyBRF application directly. However, upon trying to open it through KeyFiles, the machine had the same error you described. I do not know all the rules of what the BrailleNote Touch+ naming conventions allow and do not allow, but it does not allow periods (.) or colons (:) in the names of files. Dashes, or hyphens, as they are also known, are allowed. I re-named the file to Changes in the Nucleus, and it was able to open both ways without issues. I would recommend that your friend re-name the file. I hope I have been of service, and if there are any further questions, please do not hesitate to ask. If it opens for me, your friend might try doing a file system check, to repair any KeySoft files that were possibly corrupted? BrailleNote Touch Plus BRF Issue Hi guys,I'm trying to help a friend with the following issue.They're trying to access a BRF document using KeyBRF, but upon opening it, she gets an error that states the PDF was unable to be opened. We've tried opening the document directly from KeyBRF, as well as letting it open in the default application from KeyFiles, but no dice. Any ideas?
