In Android 11, Talkback also has multy finger gestures, which include things like Voice assistant's quick menu called selector in Talkback, gestures to enter selection mode, copy, cut and paste text, as well as pause and play media. It's still missing a few things, Voice assistant had the option to turn only voice feedback off, but hopefully we'll see that in the future too. I always found it more responsive than TalkBack. Did TalkBack get better at least? Just choose two gestures you want, and set them to options select previous setting or select next setting.However, for dimming screen you actually do not need the selector at all, just toggle it from Talkback's global context menu accessed by swiping down and then right. Nothing will happen, most phones don't have a fingerprint sensor that supports gestures.The A20 is a cheaper phone and the fingerprint is just as it is, touch and unlock or authenticate.Same with in display sensors, these don't work either. TalkBack selector feature doesn't seem to work on my android, or maybe I did something wrong. I went to TalkBack settings, go to selector, and turn the fceature on. I have asked multiple sighted people, with different versions of android. 7 and below, it would hide it by putting some kinda... dark graphic over it. After that, it did shit with brightness, but was still somewhat seeable, and now it appears to be fully hidden. I have no idea if this changes anything in terms of the way it works, perhaps with this name it now does hide the entire screen, but I have no sight at all so can't comment on that. It saddly was nuked out, I miss it too.Turned my A5 on, that one on android 7 and still has it and it was better in Samsungs than what TB has since you could turn the whole display off through it, literaly it was black, the amoled screen went off.
