Re: Envision glasses
Re: Envision glasses @3Hmm, yeah now that you mention it the Vuzix Blade runs Android 5.1.1, and the Vision-800 runs Android v4.4. Not sure if OCR or The vOICe works on them, but there's different/newer Vuzix models of glasses [here], the M400 runs Android 8.1, and the M4000 runs Android 9.0. So far, the latest android version is 11.0, and updates are still rolling out back to 8.0, so if your looking for some future proofing on security updates the M4000 could be worth looking at, but the M400 would still work. Re: Envision glasses
Re: Envision glasses I wouldn't hold your breath because if OCR was so great in a pair of glasses, it'd be equally great on our phones. Re: Envision glasses
Re: Envision glasses @electro, Orcams OCR is great but the price and the fact you can't save stuff makes the product bad. Re: Envision glasses
Re: Envision glasses Me and my family are earning money so I can buy the envision glasses. When I will get them I will tell if that's effective. Once tried OrKam in my school, but only you use it in the moment. No save features. Re: Envision glasses
Re: Envision glasses Hi.I just had a quick look at that page and would not recommend those glasses, not only are they running an much older version of android but they only last an hour each charge unless you get a battery pack. Re: Envision glasses
Re: Envision glasses I can't speak for how effective Envision glasses may or may not be, but if OCR smart glasses are of your interest, you may also want to check out the VISION-800 and Vuzix Blade. You can learn a bit more about them from The vOICe website [here], which can be loaded on them and also supports OCR, among other accessibility features. Envision glasses
Envision glasses Hi as the subject says, I want to ask you some questions about envision glasses. I am working as a lawyer so I have to work with allot of text. Those glasses are suitable for OCR? How they works? Also how is working the OCR with other languages than English? If someone is using them, can we discuss in private about a demonstration of the product? Thanks!Best regards, Bogdan.
