Re: Found something for anybody using any language

I don't know whether the answers are archived or not, but I do know that the puzzles themselves are archived. If you go to the events section, you will find the puzzles from all the way to 2015, ready to be solved.

Re: Found something for anybody using any language

A small update. I just realized that the puzzle info for everybody is different.  So, I can not archive my answer as it is not universal.

Re: Found something for anybody using any language

This is cool. There are a few of these websites around the web with similar content. The aim is to provide developers with algorithmic thinking and experience with data structures. In the US, especially for job interviews with large companies such as Google, Facebook, and Amazon, these are good exercises on which to practice because they will almost surely be part of the process! A very popular one among Software Engineers who want to prepare for this style of interviews is leetcode.com. To clarify, many software engineering positions nowadays almost require you have some experience with this style of questions. So, if you guys decide to do these problems, and you do well on them, you should consider applying to interview at Google. lol They helped me get a job at big company.

Re: Found something for anybody using any language

I can do so, though I don't know if I can solve all of the puzzles, they turn out to be quite tricky and hard, like today.I don't know if the website archives the puzzles, I'll do some searching and get back to you on that.As for archiving answers, I am hesitant, partially because that's what you need to do with your code.

Will the problems/answers be archived so that people who find this in 6 months can, if they're bored enough, work through them?

Found something for anybody in any language

2019-12-02 Thread AudioGames . net Forum — Developers room : amerikranian via Audiogames-reflector

Found something for anybody in any language

Before I give a link to this, I just want to restate the following:The solutions to these problems do not have to be made in any specific language. In fact, the answers, as you will see if you try these problems, are all integers from what I have experienced. So what is this? Well, simply put, it's a website which puts up a problem every day. A more detailed explanation is that this is a website which provides challenges that you must solve with code. The first day is somewhat simple, providing an easy problem for you to get started with. The second day, which is today, is a little more involved, but I will let you figure it out on your own. There is no rewards, risks, or penalties should you fail to solve these challenges. However, I believe that this will provide a good exercise in implementation and logic thinking, regardless of your language, and even give some pause to the more experienced programmers on here. Finally, I would like to point out that I am not affiliated with the website, somebody suggested for me to try it out and I liked it, a lot.The website can be found here.Unfortunately, do to the nature of these challenges, I will not be providing any outright answers should anybody get stuck. I can, however, offer up the problem in different words, rephrase it, should anybody ask and if I am able to access it.I hope that you all will enjoy this. New problems will go up every day of December after which they stop until next year.
