It seams to me that this one is a strait forward hack and slash. For anarchy reigns, to start the mission or when the mission is completed, is the player needs to go to the world map? Also, there is a game called vanquish. It's a shooter game but it maybe playable. Yes, the player needs to go to the world map, and I'm not sure how easy it is to find each mission when you're actually on that map. and I don't know how playable vanquish would be. MGS rising is kind of playable, but your character does not move like in the other metal gear games, if you move left, you do a circle and when you run forward, your character runs in circles as well. So it does more the typical kind of navigation then, but since it wasn't developed by konami, I kind of guessed that to be the case, though even MGS 4 and 5 have normal navigation now if I understand right. Mad world I believe it's accessible but haven't tried it so can't say for sure... and I think Metal Gear Rising and Transformers are both maybe at this point. From what I've read Metal Gear rising could be potentially playable. I don't know how playable Anarchy Reigns is, since to complete the missions you have to stand in the mission circle in the overworld to initiate it. But it might work... Re: Games by platinum games, any of them that is playable? From what i've heard, since platinum games are specialised in action games, to me some of those games are straitforward beat-em-up. For example the bayonetta games.From what i've heard, the game have cinematic cutscenes and battles, but i think there are explorations too.Also, yesterday i've tried transformers: devastation, and to me it's partially playable. There are timed event and such, but if you faild to complete the timed stuff, the timer will reset so you can try again. Most of them is to break object and stuff, but for some event, you will have to destroy stuff with vehicle mode.For mad world, it reminds me of something like the def jam series, the fight night series or the WWE series.Basically, it's a 3D beat-em-up combined with boxing or wrestling.And lastly, for anarchy reigns(for the us version) or max anarchy(for the japanese version), the game is quite similar to an old beat-em-up game for ps2 called urban reign. If you are familiar with it you can try it.
