I've Returned... Sort of... Well, I imagine not a single person saw this coming, did you?I’m really not sure if this is in the right place, but I figured since this is referring to my return to the site it should go here. Continuing…Let me give a little explanation. A lot of emotion went into my walkout. However, I feel like it was a much-needed semi-break as a lot of things have been going on lately. For confidential reasons, I’m not allowed to post about anything that’s been going on, but needless to say the last week or so has been ruff. Granted, three months is a bit of an exaggerated break unless you get banned. I have also been keeping my ears out on the forum since I left (which is why I call this a semi-break), and I believe it has given me a sense of self-control. By that I mean I ranted a little bit on Twitter the first few times I read the forum and it’s angered me, but I’m slowly learning to keep my itchy keyboard warrior fingers to myself. Of course, one could also argue that it could have something to do with my recent situation. This can be said based off of how a lot of people have upset me and made me see different sides to them that I don’t like to see, but I couldn’t state my mind because if I did I could not only ruin my own reputation, but others reputations as well. I’ve experienced true depression, and it was the worst spot I’ve ever been in. I’ve seen people at their breaking point, when I didn’t think they had one before. In this past week I’ve seen and experienced hurt, which I hope I never have to see or experience for the rest of my life. I’m not going to come on here and say that I’ve changed, because really I’m the same guy I’ve always been and always will be. I’ve simply learned a few things about myself and about others, including the potentially powerful results my words could yield in certain situations, and how bad letting anger take control of me could be for both myself and others around me. Do I need help? Hell yeah I do! Do I need to take other people down with me when I lose my grip and fall? No. I’ve seen what that can do, both on here and in my personal life. I’d like to say I’m working on it, and evidence of this fact can be seen by witnessing that I didn’t look for the first troll post on this forum a few minutes ago and bash the hell out of it classic Dan Gero style. However, I’ve still got bad thorns, just as everyone else does. In the meantime, I’m going to start out small. In leaving this forum I realized I’ve dropped a lot of things on their heads, including my Sonus project and the Game Give-Away topic, so I’m going to start out by taking care of those small details. Eventually (at my own speed) I’m going to start replying to topics a bit more until I feel fully comfortable resuming my forum life normally once again. I realize that some people won’t be too keen with my sudden return, or maybe even my return at all, but I’m going to try my best to make sure my presence here won’t be a living hell for you all like it was last time.
