The thing that pops into my mind first, is that I just don't like typing commands for everything, but then I guess I wouldn't enjoy any MUD at that rate.I'm playing Untold right now, and I like it's style. The combat I think is more real-time instead of turn-based as you can attack, parry, etcetera, but you can completely parry attacks from an enemy without them ever landing an attack. The buttons recharge after a while, so you can't just spam them. Re: I need a RPG to spend some months in If you have access to Ios, there are some great games there, I'm thinking particularly here if king of dragon pass, and it's sequel six ages, which are sort of rpg mixed with strategy mixed with a lot of making meaningful choices. then there is land of Livia which is slower,but well worth a go, and homequest, not to mention a dark room and the ensign, nano empire and (depending upon how you define rpg), evelyn's farm. There are also the adventure to fate games, which have very unique combat and gameplay but take a lot of navigating the screen, and Most recently there is the untold rpg, though I've not tried that one yet. I'd also personally second bookrage on muds like alteraeon and erion, but it's up to you. Re: I need a RPG to spend some months in honestly speaking, ROTK is like the best Action MMORPG you can hope for, but the paywall, well... there is that forgotton island MMORPG, but I am not sure what happened to it, lets hope the dev will continue with it someday. Dreamland has a serious and strong playerbase same as ROTK, but even though there are micro transactions too, I think dreamland is quite fare, yes, you still got beaten by paid players, you still able to fight some of them. the problem of dreamland is how it could get borring for a while, unless there is an event going on. the combat on dreamland is also less intresting then ROTK, you can just let your character automaticly fight the enemy. Breed Memorial is also one that will eat your life. It is based on the monster farm/monster rancher (depending on the country you live in depends on title) from the 90s and it is a monster raising and breeding game but it is different than the pokemon-style manamon games and is significantly harder. You will see the delight of the MR series though if you go for it and you should have a good time.
