Re: Installing mods to steam games Hmm yeah, try out a new cable, it might help.I think that in the steam workshop for the game you have an installed mods section, I'm not sure though.But, what makes you think that the game isn't even accessible? I suppose you have platforming, puzzle and other sections we can't do with OCR alone, so, how would it work?Also the game doesn#t support controlers, it's keyboard and mouse based, so, I would be curious how you would want to play this.Greetings Moritz. Re: Installing mods to steam games before I got my knew computer, I was starting knights of the old republic on XBox and I would use OCR with my capture card to read the screen. But now my capture card can't OCR with my current computer. I'm thinking I might need to buy another HDMI cable for the TV. The XBox one is good, but you can't mod that one. is their a place on steam that shows what mods your subscribed to? Re: Installing mods to steam games Some how my steam fixed itself. Some reason steam guard didn’t pop up when I put my login info in to the steam shortcut properties. Now we’re back to square one. The game crashes when I launch it. It plays the intro stuff, but when it gets to the main menu, the game crashes. The only game that doesn’t crash is arcade spirits. But sometimes, when a developer re-releases an older game on Steam they make small changes to it that can break certain mods. GTA san Andreas is one example, there's a couple of cool soundpacks you can get for it but they only work with the retail copy of the game and not the digital re-releases.Try to Google around to see if there were any big changes in the KOTR steam release and whether there are any known issues with mods not working on it. Re: Installing mods to steam games I just tried uninstalling and reinstalling steam, but when I did after the quote -no-dwrite -login username password and lonched steam it brought me back to the log in window. before I uninstalled it, it would bring me to the part where it shows your friends and stuff. I'm not sure what I broke this time. I even tried to download a new setup file and had the same results. Re: Installing mods to steam games One of the mods adds a extra reward to some puzzles in the first level. Another one adds custom blaster and mele sounds. Theirs another that adds a extra face when you choose what portrait the char should have and the last one improves what each class gets when they start the game. I’m still baffled as to why. Re: Installing mods to steam games I was able to install the mods I got from deadly stream, but when I launched knights of the old republic and knights of the old republic 2 the games would crash after they got too the main menu. At first I thought it was the anti virus I got from the store that built my computer, but after I uninstalled it and ran both games they still crashed. The weird thing is after I put in some of the mods they worked fine on my old computer. I’m not sure what the issue is. Could it be that I’m running steam beta?
