Re: Introducing: Description Please The way reddit threads are formatted is such that replies are indented, so sighted people can tell which reply goes to which comment. In very deep threads, this can push them far enough that there isn't much space on the line, so the spaces disappear to shove more letters into a line. And yes, for a screen reader this is obnoxious.
