Re: Is There a Way to Fix These Annoying IOS Glitches

Well, I do have the SE, so maybe it has to be a smaller phone for that workaround to be effective. I also don't have a case on it right now, so I can very effectively cover the entire speaker.

Re: Is There a Way to Fix These Annoying IOS Glitches

Does anyone else have issues with their phone horribly lagging when using certain apps? I noticed that when I click something on the Amazon app, whether it's to search for something or access my account, my phone will buckle a little and no matter how much I swipe, it'll take three to four seconds until it responds. This goes on for about thirty seconds until it finally decides to figure itself out. I noticed this to a lesser extent in other apps like YouTube, but this is very frustrating.

When I cover my speaker it picks it up stronger, that's how the 7 is, same as when you hold your thumb over the speaker on a call, it echos.

Re: Is There a Way to Fix These Annoying IOS Glitches

For the Siri issue, I hold my thumb over the speaker. This makes  Voiceover muffled enough that Siri doesn't get confused. It's not a real solution as such, but until Apple fixes it, it's the best I've got. Turning speech off would accomplish the same task, but that's an extra step I wouldn't choose to do personally.

Re: Is There a Way to Fix These Annoying IOS Glitches

Hi,I know this isn't super helpful, but the ball is very much in Apple's court for most of this. For the siri problem you mentioned, you could temporarily disable speech with a three finger double tap, and then re-enable it when you're finished working with siri. The others I'm not too sure about. I believe the voiceover problem is a bug, wherein it switches to the volume of the audio output versus the volume it is set to previously. Not to gripe, but I wish apple would at least acknowledge and work on fixing these problems that the voiceover community is having. Many people have reported these various IOS13 glitches if not outright bugs, and nothing seems to be done about them.Do feel free to correct me if I am wrong.I remember even a few years ago that Apple was quite diligent at fixing accessibility bugs that were reported to them, alas times are changing it looks like.Hth a bit,Daniel

Is There a Way to Fix These Annoying IOS Glitches

I've been having several problems ever since I updated to IOS 13, and they don't go away. I was wondering if anybody could help me stop them from happening.1. Sometimes when I go to use Siri, Voice Over will either continue talking if I'm on a notification on the lock screen, or it will randomly start saying things like "What can I help you with?" for no apparent reason, effectively blurring out my voice.2: I use WiFi calling since I'm in an area with no reception. Out of nowhere, it will randomly stop working and I can't make or receive phone calls/text messages, forcing me to disable it and re-enable it.3. I connect my IPhone to my Amazon Echo and play my audio recordings at night to help me sleep. If I use Voice Over, it still outputs through my phone speaker. I don't have a problem with this, that is, not until Voice Over's speech turns itself all the way up and blasts my eardrums. Yeah, it hurts a lot.Seeing as how Apple probably has zero interest in fixing any of these glitches, is there something I can do to remedy these things from my side of the screen?
