@Jimmy have fun at uni, interestingly enough that was where I discovered a lot of games, IF included. I've had a lot to say on the parser vs choice description before, though of course just because something is choice based doesn't mean it works all the time, or that its good, there is still a lot of drek out there, and lack of interaction is definitely a point.@Julian, glad the ball was fun. I'm wondering how old are you? In britan, the official drinking age is 18, and at our end of school ball there were at least minimal drinks available, EG champagne, since everyone was either 18 or about to be 18. Not enough for anyone to get paralytically drunk, but enough to have a bit of something. glad you had a good time.@Danjiro, I do check my pms when I remember to, but I don't have any at the moment. I can however always be reached using the email link on the forum.Yesterday we went for a rather nice buffet meal with my parents and my brother and his fiance at a place called Cosmo as a sort of belated birthday treat for my lady. We had a surprisingly good time, and the food was a lot nicer than many of these places can be, it was also good to get a mix of things, since I was able to have everything from Jamaican browned chicken (which was lovely), to spring rolls, crab claws, and even a small slice of gammon pizza, not to mention a bunch of interesting desserts. Fortunately for my waste line if I'm going to eat meals like that, As people will gather who've been reading general game discussion, i've got zombies run working on Ios, and am having fun with it, actually considering that previously 15 minutes spring was about the most I could stand boardom wise, picking up supplies for the zombocalypse and running audio drama missions away from the undead is actually working quite well. Thus far I'm just doing a 20 minute sprint each day, though I plan to add my weight lifting to that soon. Zombies run has facilities for various forms of sprint training including 5k, 10k, and marathon runs, though that is less my thing I think, I'm just looking for something to encourage me to get back into daily exercise as I used to, since with things being so bloody difficult at the moment anything I can do to be physically and mentally more with it can help, and thus far it's working out well. I'm also working on a review of needful things, as well as getting back to trying more games out, which should hopefully  I could get back into db updates soon as well, though with the proviso that I don't know how much I'll be able to do comitment wise. I am trying to continue with my writing, right now I'm banging out a review for needful things as well as working on a sequel to my audio wizard's story, since I really liked the characters I came up with for that one. Of course, this is very obviously keeping myself busy, annoyingly I seem to be running across so many references to Canser these days its not funny, indeed my lady and I have come to using the phrase "fuck off nelly!" whenever the elephant in the room gets too intrusive, (nelly the elephant being a kids song over here).Still its one of these things were the best to be done is just sort of keep on trucking really.

Hi,Anybody remembers the last monthly Chat were I talked about my upcoming School ball a lot?Well, the School ball was last Saturday/early Sunday and did actually go way better than expected. I only had to work a Little bit and the dancing wasn't as bad either. However, it was very tiring because we had to be at the ball's Location for almost the whole day.The midnight Play (basically at midnight, every class is able to do a Little Play, actually there they can do what they want) of my class (which I, unlike the opening Dance, didn't participate in) was awesome too, but I think the headmaster was a little unhappy about some stuff (real beer on stage, ...).All in all, the evening was great.

Re: Monthly chat October 2019

For me, university has started again. Nothing too crazy yet, but we'll see.Oh, and it's Interactive Fiction Competition month, where I am a judge. Sadly, parser based IF seems to die slowly, and for each parser entry we now get six or seven choice based ones. I know, many of you like choice based more, but I prefer the good old parser. Especially because most choice entries for the competition are written in twine, and a strange thing I noticed is that most twine games show a page of text, then one word of the text is randomly highlighted, you click on it and the next page appears. There is often no or just a tiny bit interactivity in those stories, and then I ask myself, why not just write a novel?

Re: Monthly chat October 2019

|Thanks. @keyIsFull, the only richard matherson I've read so far has been I am legend which is of course the classic that spawned night of the living dead and lots of other zombie films, although those were vampires. I enjoyed it (at least as much as one can enjoy that sort of thing), and would be interested in checking out more by mahterson. Needful things is good so far, but likely when I'm finished I'll bring back the stephen King topic. It was my lady's birthday yesterday so we went out for a very awesome Italian meal, we had a good time, but I admit at the moment there is a bit of  a sword of Damocles hanging over us. We're going to have to go back to hospital on Wednesday for another chat and to do all the paperwork, then my lady will start the chemo. On the plus side, recently I did have a lot of fun with planet side (now with broackerly),  check new releases, it was a perfect act of relaxation, albeit the last few dungeons got very grindy. Today I have a book review to finish and I might try getting back to serious fiction writing, I would also like to check in with cosmic rage as well since I've not been on for a while. Hope everyone is having a reasonably better time.

Re: Monthly chat October 2019

@Julian, you need audio description for fantastic beasts, its a very visual film, and a lot of the humour comes from the antics of the beasts themselves. I watched it with description at the cinema which was nice, and I watched it that way with my lady, actually since she has no working vision that's how we do most films. I prefer description if its there, though I can live without it if I must, albeit I still miss things. 'Wes Hollow good luck with the medical issues, I definitely sympathise, particularly now. Today has been extremely grim, since we went to hospital and found out all about the joys of Chemotherapy, radiotherapy (), and how, since my lady's cancer is an unusual one, what sort of surgery might be happening if other things don't work out. Between discussions of side effects and quite literal percentage chances of bad stuff happening, it was honestly pretty awful, and probably means we'll be going to hospital even more regularly. this means again that basically gaming for me is mostly trimps and cosmic rage, since I'm definitely not up to anything that needs reactions at the moment, albeit I did take the time to play a bit of feer and audio wizards on my phone whilst I was waiting, though did horribly badly at both.To cheer ourselves up, my lady and I are reading Needful things by Stephen King, which ironically is working well since its such a wondefully absorbing book, actually we're probably likely to go through it quite quickly. Hope everyone else is having a slightly better time.

Re: Monthly chat October 2019

@23I honestly have no idea how it all started, though I have some idea. All I remember is that I always enjoyed wearing diapers and never wanted to stop wearing them. There is an event that happened when I was very young, like probably two years old or so. I have no actual memory of the event, but I have been told about it several times. So my parents had hired someone to help potty train me, since they didn't really know how to go about potty training a blind kid. Apparently I was stubborn and the lady got frustrated and yelled at me. I wonder if this is what caused me wanting to stay in diapers. I do know that I feel safe while wearing them. Again, this is just my personal case, the fetish is different for everyone who experiences it. I have no desire to give it up at this point, it's just a part of who I am.

Re: Monthly chat October 2019

@Wes Hollow, thanks, that's appreciated.@cmerry, yes that's one rather amusing English habbit Mrs. Dark has picked up, both the tea drinking and talk about the weather, though my dad says she drinks weird teas because she prefers fruit teas. I'm more a coffee sort of chap myself, actually I'm a bit of a snob on the subject . @Dardar, welcome to the joys of monthly chat, yeah, university is fun! I had a great time during my degree, actually I really miss it despite the work load, I still remember writing my political philosophy essay on carl marks, frantically trauling the internet for a copy of Capital that was not in Russian, and since Collige had stopped serving food for the term, the only thing I could find to sustain me was a large packet of jelly babies and a pint of red bull . Btw, that essay was one which didn't count towards final marks, hence why I left it until the last minute. Oddly it did extremely well . Actually in terms of boring life I'm afraid I'm pretty much  at the minute, since with mrs. Dark being varying degrees of unwell, my life at the moment is essentially shuttling between hospital visits and presentiments of doom, trying to bang out a bit of writing when I can and only gaming in a low key way. Just to cheer myself up even further I'm now reading flowers for Algernon by  Daniel Keyes, a classic about a learning disabled man who gets his IQ boosted. I read Keyes' own commentary on how he wrote the novel in a collection of nebula award winning sf stories and immediately decided I wanted to read it, actually with all my research on disability I'm surprised I didn't run into this one earlier. Yee gods it's good, though very disturbing in places. We also watched the first fantastic beasts film too which mrs. Dark had not seen. Actually rewatching the first one it just made me a good bit more irritated at how much of a train wreck the crimes of grindelwald was. Anyway hope everyone else is having more fun than I am at the second.

First time I've ever posted in one of these, go me!So for those interested, I am, as always, very busy with various products, some of which have been mentioned, like the overhaul to Calendar Craziness which is under a secret new name!Delightedly, I broke through a stumbling block with that last night, (at one in the morning) and can now get back to the task of getting through the fffeature request list.I actually, as odd as it sounds, enjoy doing things like that, like saying to people okay, here's my product plan, it's x, and will include a, b, c and d. Is there anything else you'd like to see? Then i take that list, and just crank through it.Good times.Right now, though, I managed to catch a cold. I know! And who says I'm pgysically unfit, I can run fast enough to catch the cold, though I admit my nose is still running, but I'll catch it some day too!For now though, it's slogging through my second year of University, coding my fingers to the bone, and juggling tutorial plans in my head, while slowly planning out website changes. All fun stuff to keep me from getting boring.what do you mean you stopped reading? What do you mean I'm tedious! I'll have you know...*ranting voice fades out, music cutting in and playing Dardar off the screen.*

Hi.Not to much is going on this month, accept for a lot.I am testing out this coding curriculum with a few people at my school, so that other visually impaired middle and high school kids that are interested in learning the basics of coding can do so.I am also in goal ball, so that's fun. My throwing skills half suck, and my blocking is alright. Come to think of it, they both have improved. This is my first year going out to compete, and I hope I do good but the chances of that are kind of low.To be fair though, this is, after all, my first year playing.I've been working on coding lately, and plan to release a small pack of kind of helpful scripts I coded to the developers room in case someone wants to know what I have been randomly coding and such, and then people might get some use out of my randomness as well. It's got like 6 or 7 scripts and such in it at the moment, but I think it might be expanded. Not sure yet.I do not think there is anything else going on with my life, but if you want to ask anything, feel free. That's it for me.

Welcome Wes Hollow. I can say being 37 myself,  this side of the big 30 it really doens't look quite so scary . well returning to this topic. thanks for the good wishes. Physically Mrs. Dark is indeed better but again we're not sure whether she will remain this way and annoyingly we've just heard we'll need to wait until this weekend before we find out a bit more, which is a miner pest. We have been doing some fun things though, on Saturday a good friend of mine, my very scary but lovely Russian friend who I knew from uni turned up for a meal which was nice, its the first time Mrs. dark and I have been able to go out anywhere together that isn't hospital for quite a while which was good. We also celibrated yesterday by watching Sleeping beauty, yes the cheesy one from 1959 (though the faeries were all sorts of awesome), and drinking a bottle of meed together which was nice, and hopefully a sign of miner improvement. Other than my Ios related issues though, things have been picking up a little. I finished my audio wizards story. I was actually far more pleased with it than I expected, especially the way the characters sort of took over and ended up doing their own thing. Its not necessary to know the game to appreciate the story, so anyone who has a fansy to read a sort of young adult type story about an apprentice wizard's travails learning magic can Find the story here. Other than that not too much too report, other than more cosmic rage, we've been slightly evicted from our house for a couple of days so I'm at my parents' right now, though as our very nice land lord is putting in a new shower which we really do rather need this is not as bad as it sounds. Hope Aaron enjoys the feel the force day, it was great fun when I came and I'm sure MRs. dark would find it fun, actually she'd enjoy looking at the costumes, also I'm rather jealous of the long jon silver bit  pirates are cool .I can't really comment on the adult infantilism bit, its something that I've heard of but does seem a little odd to me, but hay whatever floats your crib .Btw, to Jaiden and anyone else, no obviously I don't refer to my lady as Mrs. Dark accept when talkign about her to others, though for the record she actually doesn't mind being referd to as Mrs. Dark, and yes,  is still rather nice for me to actually have! a Mrs. Dark to refer to as Mrs. Dark, and I get a pleased little twinge whenever I say so .to anyone who was on Klango some years ago, she was on there as Talea and on the zone as Bellsong, but obviously as she hasn't got an account on this forum it wouldn't make sense for me to refer to her that way here. Oh, and before anyone assumes any synister reasons for why she's not got an account here, its because she's currently a very casual gamer at best, though she's enjoyed screaming strike (and contributed some screams), and I'd like to introduce her to the joys of crazy party and breed memorial at some point, since I think she'd enjoy taking care of little monsters.

Hello all,I really just want to fit in on here without any problems.. Sometimes I feel like people don't understand exactly what I'm trying to say exactly. haha I'm turning 32 this month, and am not looking forward to it at all.. I've had more health issues these last two years than in my entire life, and its not a cheery feeling.. Hopefully I will have more answers in the next three months, and will know what to do..

Hi,Nothing much going on here, School is very busy at the Moment, with our School ball being only a few weeks away (will be glad when that's over, to be honest). Otherwise, I have to do a lot of work to do for School.@Dark: glad that Things are slowly improving, all the best from me.@Stirlock: Didn't know that something like this even existed, sounds really interesting.

Re: Monthly chat October 2019

7It's different for everyone, I enjoy drinking from baby bottles, playing with various toys and wearing diapers. I'd put my little age at 6 months to a year old or so. Interests and little ages varry from person to person. I know of a couple littles that are around 4 years old, and diapers don't come into play at all for them. If you want to know more about things,  a very excelent site is called understanding infantilism. www.understanding.infantilism.orgAlways happy to answer more questions though.

At three, can you please explain what you mean? Like what aspects of a baby do you like playing As? I am just trying to understand I just never really understood age play at all, and just wanted to hear from the first 10 perspective what it was like.

@aaron, sounds awesome, being as I am a big starwars / doctor who fan myself I'd love to do that some time.@dark, best of luck to you and your lady, hope she gets better soon.As for myself, well things have been interesting for me lately. I managed to pretty much fail both english and maths and just scrape by on everything else, I'm having to retake a lot of things, which means I've been taking a lot of classes with year 11s despite being a 6th former myself, which is kind of de motivating.Aside from that, this year for my EPQ I'll be making an audiogame which is designed to get more people from NCW (My school) into audiogames, which should be pretty fun, as well of corse finishing all my other projects I've been somewhat neglecting lately.

Re: Monthly chat October 2019

Dark, glad to hear that things are getting a little better. Still sounds scary though. As for me, October's going to be a busy month. I've got Feel The Force Day this Saturday which means I won't be on the forum until Sunday. The event is great as that's where I first discovered cosplay, or costuming, so to speak. There are some brilliant characters and it's definitely not just Star Wars either.I'm singing at a cabaret on the 12th, and I've got a wedding at the end of the month and it's starting to look like I'm tapped to be singing a song or two there as well, so it's all quite exciting.I'm also doing rehearsals for my theatre group's next show, Treasure Island, and I got the part of Long John Silver, so it's quite exciting. It's a bit of a pantomime as well so it's fun to be a little over the top villain, although not too much as Long John Silver isn't all villain if you think about it.

Re: Monthly chat October 2019

Well, nothing intresting happened over here. Just the same old, same old. Same old boring old Japanese cars, same old Indian/African food, same old mutant ninja zombie lazer space bats. Same old girlfriend, same old everything.Today, I started the Track and Field team. The only visually impaired person on the team, however I outclass most tof them. I also was named cheerman of the debate team in my school, as well as the maths olympiad. I sound like a real nerd, right? I try to keep balance. I cycle at home, and do other sporting stuff. Form 2 is just like form 1. but as expected, its a tad bit harder. Now, enough about me. Dark, I hope you and Misses Dark get better. You know, hearing Elliquence saying Misses Dark had me wondering how fun it is to say Misses dark. Anyway, hope you guys get better.

Re: Monthly chat October 2019

I'm enjoying living on my own, have been here a few months now. A lot of people who know me personally know this about me, but I'm what's known as an age player. I enjoy acting younger than I am, in my case I enjoy acting like a baby. It's a huge stress relief. It's nice that I can now do this without having to hide it from family since I live alone. Had some little time today and it was great being able to unwind. I'm sorry to hear about your wife's tumor, Dark. I hope everything will work out OK with all of that. That stuff is always scary for sure.

Monthly chat October 2019

Welcome to another monthly chat topic, which means of course next verse as same as the first, or to put it another way this monthly chat topic has the same rules as ever, chat about anything in a nice casual way, from books to films to  and animay to how your life generally is going at the moment. Well Mrs. Dark is a little better, but not feeling great, we have an appointment next Wednesday when they're going to decide what to do about my lady's tumour, since as I said in last month's topic whilst she had the operation to get rid of it, there is still some left. Hopefully she's going to be feeling better, though we've had more messing around today and visits from a lovely nurse who did some unlovely things, so while I'm pretty much okay things are not easy right now. That is one reason I've been playing so much cosmic rage, though I've been taking time out to do a bit of work for the audio wizard's competition. I am actually having fun writing a story set in the universe, and will post it up here when its done, however the competition goes since its always nice to have audiogame related fanfiction. other than that sadly not too much to report as yet. Sorry to people that life is so comparatively uninteresting and I@m not my usual self, indeed as people might have gathered, the forum and gaming and lots of other things have had to take something of a back seat recently, though I will say Cosmic rage has been a really nice distraction.
