Re: Music, bringing all together

I spent more time listening to the arranged soundtrack of samurai showdown anthology on the Wii than I did playing the actual game, and before then I kept calling into the store every couple days till they had the game. I still got it right here, and on my psp.

Re: Music, bringing all together

By the way folks, feel free to link to stuff here, such as YouTube vids or ways to support artists. My phone has music from a lot of games on it. I also own the Hero's Call soundtrack. I feel like if we can't play a game, then music is our next best thing to entering that world for a while. I recently purchased the Pokémon Let's Go super music collection from iTunes. I think it's got a longer name than that though!I am wondering if the new Samurai Shodown will have a soundtrack release. I sometimes buy cds from Japan, I own Super Mario Odyssey, Monster Hunter World and Bravely Default soundtracks. If SoulCalibur 6 gets a soundtrack I would so like to get that. There are some YOuTube vids of it though but I don't think it's got everything.

Re: Music, bringing all together

I feel exactly the same. Shadow rine is delivered with avesome OST which is one of the best in my opinion. This is comparable with the gameplay in most of the audio games out there. There are just few examples of really interesting concepts and mechanics compared to the video games and well, the music is mostly on the same level.

Re: Music, bringing all together

I think right now my favorite music from audiogame is shadow line for several reasons. The game had an emotional impact on ne. I've played it through many times. The music invokes that sense of adventure like the legend of zelda, particularly Karina of time. It just feels very original and fits the game well, like a mainstream game. In second place would be the music from the bk series. It's also very memorable. One of the problems with many audio games these days is that they borrow a lot of music, so when you been playing mainstream games all your life and hear good music in audiogame that you never heard before in such high quality, it really stands out. Such was the case with the games mentioned here.

Music, bringing all together

When i got a Hero's Call, i iimediatly fell in love.  Game play was and still is pretty bad ass.  The sound is awesome and the music is great.  My son who is 4 saw me play here and their and when i listened to the soundtrack requested some of the songs to be in his very eclectic playlist.  That surprised me because--- well its something you wouldn't think a 4 year old would listen too.  He also requested music from Killer instinct to be on play list.  NOt sure if i should even put this on here, but I just thought that it was neet that music from a game that we blind peoples play  would make it in to a child's playlist.  Anyways thought i would share.  Have anyone experienced similar things with audio games?
