The base game's like 7 dollars on psn so you can get it pretty cheap on there.

@6 No problem, glad it worked for you. I've been asked to write a complete menu guide for Street Fighter 5 in the articles room so I'll try and get that done over the next few weeks.

Re: Need Help Boosting Street Fighter V's Gameplay Performance

@4 Thanks for the transcript. That helped a lot. I also ended up setting the resolution to the lowest value. The gameplay is much faster now. The only drawback is that I can't use NVDA's OCR feature to read the screen as it appears to be blank, but I'm not too worried about that as I've figured out things like the Arcade menu. Thanks again.Yours Sincerely,Kelly Sapergia

could also be a video card issue. some of these games demand a kick ass gpu or they run like crap. also to be honest, 8gb ram isn't great for mainstream gaming these days. but as @4 says, you can possibly tweek it in to really low video modes and things so it will play propperly.

Re: Need Help Boosting Street Fighter V's Gameplay Performance

Ok so on Steam's Street Fighter 5 store page the minimum CPU is an i3-4160 at 3.60 GHz so it could be that your processor is slightly slower than recommended. I'll transcribe the video for you. Make sure you have view hidden files ticked. 4th tab on your explorer window, File, Home, Share, View. Under view tick the show hidden files option. Here's what's in the video:Hi everyone In this video I will show you how to make street fighter 5 playable on low computers.I play street fighter 5 on a laptop AMD quad core A6-6310 at 2.4 GHz and normally you need like 3 GHz to run this game.Go to "My Computer" There you will search for the game folder.Program Files [x86]/Steam/Steamapps/Common/StreetFighterV  The video then shows him navigating to PC/Windows(C:)/Program Files [x86]/Steam/steamapps/common/StreetFighterVNow there will be another folder inside with the same name "StreetFighterV" Open it and go to Intermediate/config/CoalescedSourceConfigsFind the file Scalability.ini. Copy this and paste it into your Users/[Your Name]/AppData/Local/StreetFighterV/Saved/Config/WindowsNoEditorThis will replace the scalability.ini file already in there.Time to give the game an FPS boost.Open the new scalability file you just pasted and scroll down until you find [ShadowQuality@0]Now we will disable the shadows, change everything there to zero. Now scroll a little bit further down and look for [PostProcessQuality@0]There you will change everything to zero once more. However leave this line as it was, don't change it: r.AmbientOcclusionRadiusScale=1.7Now save the file. Now you will get more FPS when you start the game. He then talks about running different resolutions and says:It will run very nice if you choose 800 x 600 and lower of course but I always use 1024 x 768 and I recommend it.The rest of the video talks about how you seem to get more FPS with online play and then shows the graphics differences between various resolutions.Hope this works for you, if you need more help let me know and I'll see what I can do.

Need Help Boosting Street Fighter V's Gameplay Performance

Hi,I've been trying to play Street Fighter V: Champion Edition for Windows for some time now. While I've been able to win some matches, the gameplay feels rather sluggish to me compared to Ultra Street Fighter IV. The menus work fine, however, and I'm not experiencing any stuttering with the music or SFX.I experienced similar behavior with Mortal Kombat XL, but it was resolved by running it's Auto Configuration tool, though I have no idea what it adjusted to make the game work better. With SFV, I haven't come across an Auto Config feature. I've also found some Youtube videos regarding this issue, but there's no narration, just music. (I hate it when people do that!)Does anyone have any recommendations on what settings to adjust? Thanks.Yours Sincerely,Kelly Sapergia
