@ArqmeisterYes, that is correct - you can put your disc in and it'll just download an update from there (the update I believe might be the size of the game, but it downloads an emulation profile so that it can run under the 360 interface).  Something like that, anyway.

Yes, but what if you already own some of the backwards compatible games on disc, can you pop it in, and it downloads to your xbox 1 or what?

Re: New to Xbox One S, games, narrator tips and tricks, or anything else?

@DragomierI've provided a note in a separate topic, but to summarise:The 360 interface via the Xbox ONe is not at all compatable with Narrator, so if you wanted to play with your friends online via one of those games, you would either need to be extremely lucky or have copious amounts of sighted assistance.  THus I would warn any prospective buysers of Xbox ONe/One S consoles away from buying backwards compatable titles until such a time as they are able to be worked with via Narrator (that is, when notifications aren't handled by the archaic interface that doesn't appear to allow for any shortcuts, but instead available via the Xbox ONe interface and accessible from there).I hope this information helps.  If you are going to post lists like this, I would advise attaching a similar warning to any lists so that people are aware of what frustrations they might come up against.

Hello, When using a headset with a mic with the xbox one, you need to use a headset that uses a patch chord, that is one with one connector. If planning to use voice recognition, you must use a headset with an integrated microphone that utilizes one connector. One neat feature of the xbox controller is that if you go to settings>tv and one guide>audio output and set both hdmi audio and optical to stereo uncompressed, your games and speech will go through both, allowing you to plug your headset in, turn the tv off, and game wherever in the house your xbox can still wirelessly talk to the controller. Try going to the kitchen, with the xbox in your other room, fix yourself a sandwich while kicking farrator's ass in mk. Another questio0n: How do you do the cheats in gta5? When I look for the cheats online, Some of the cheats, such as the one for the weapons, will instruct you to perform a combonation on the controller, but will have a # (pound) sign in the middle. Are these
just placeholders, or do you have to mix the controller input with the in-game phone? I also remember getting past the intro sequence, at least to where they try to escape the building, but for some reason when I restart the game, I always die when one of the guys is like "I'll handle the blasting... Don't blow yourself up!" I'm not really sure how I got farther than that first sceen when they're holding the people hostage in the first sceen. Also, does anyone want to go a few rounds in mkxl? Also, does anyone know of any games, even demos, that are free and at least semi accessible? Dead or alive: last round is a free download. I have it installed, although I have played it maybe once, so my knowledge on how to play it is extremely limited, so I'll give it a shot later on today.

I have a list of games you can add to your console. I'm not sure if you heard, but there is something called backwards compatibility. It allows you to play 360, and even original XBOX games on the XBOX 1. Most of them can be found through the store, others on disks. I will direct you to a link to a current list of ALL the backwards compatible games.http://www.gamespot.com/articles/all-th … 0-6434025/At the time of posting, this article is 2 hours old. This is a forum topic with many accessible mainstream game. Mys advice is to see which games are accessible on 360 and look for them on the list above.http://forum.audiogames.net/viewtopic.php?id=10067Finally, this is the list I have compiled of games I'd like for my Christmas list, you might be interested in some of them.Dead Or Alive 5: Last Round Edition One Piece: Burning Blood UFC EA Sports UFCDouble Dragon: NeonDungeons And Dragons: Chronicles Of MystaraFinal Fight: Double ImpactGarou: Mark Of The WolvesGuardian HeroesThe King Of Fighters 98Lego Star Wars: The Complete SagaMagic: The Gathering 2012Monday Night CombatPhantom Braker: Battle GroundsSkullgirlsSoul CaliburVirtua FighterPLEASE NOTE: Not all of the games on my own personal list are for sure accessible but I am willing to try them.I hope I was of some assistance.
