If so, we are experiencing similar problems but with different software, I when trying to open vissual studio's toolbox, you with channels on television or whatever it is. Because in a bale of hay, if you placed a needle in there, you're never likely to find it again.I'm honestly not sure what NVDA does about crashes, I'd ask on the email list. I doubt it would be in the next log, in fact I'm fairly sure it wouldn't be because the first thing in there is usually 'starting nvda'. The developers of NVDA will be able to tell you some steps to try. But, if you installed this keybaord and the problems started then, I would uninstall it. Re: Strange NVDA Crash Hello everyone,For some reasons, my NVDA crashes at random and I have to restart it. What is strange is that it may have to do with the installation of the japanese keyboard. I remember I installed it to play Brave Of Cloudia, and I'm pretty sure that's when the problem started. The thing is I don't even use the japanese keyboard that often, so I wonder why it could be so. Well, even when I use it, my NVDA doesn't seem more unstable than how it is otherwise.The crashes aren't too frustrating as they don't happen too often, but they are still quite frequent nonetheless.So, does anyone have any idea why it happens?Thanks in advance. Re: Strange NVDA Crash @3 probably because ya still have the old addon, you don't need that because now the default uses win10 built in OCR.I do get NVDA to hang sometimes, often times if I just let it chill it comes back in 15 seconds or so, other times I have to restart it. You always have the option to do nvda -r from the run dialog. Re: Strange NVDA Crash I also got a similar problem as well. It most likely happends because a lot of commands are sent to the screan reader, so it stops responding and... you know what happends. Not sure though. The only way to fix this is to force restart it with ctrl_alt+n if you have the desktop shortcut, or running it again. BTW, is that just me or does those things happen more if you use eloquence then any other sinth?
