Re: Question about ffmpeg
Re: Question about ffmpeg It's called Pazera Audio Extractor AFAIK. That tool however requires you to select the audio format/quality when extracting, which means that it will always re-encode the track you want to extract. Not that this is just slower than purely extracting it, but it will include quality loss as well. But it utilizes ffmpeg/libavcodec under the hood, you are right. Re: Question about ffmpeg
Re: Question about ffmpeg Haven't played a lot with this but there's also a program called pizara audio extractor which can extract audio from files like you describe. I only recently found out it lets you select the track you want, and it uses ffmpeg under the hood so far as I know, so if you're familiar with ffmpeg you could do it directly from there. Re: Question about ffmpeg Try a tool called eac3to, that should be able to do what you want and is accessible AFAIK. Question about ffmpeg
Question about ffmpeg Hi,I have an mkv-file, with multible audio tracks inside. It has a TrueHD, a DTS, a DTSHD, and an AC3 track.Do anyone know, how I can extract the audio tracks from the mkv-file, so they are saved in their original format, for example so the ac3-track is saved as an .ac3-file.Thanks in advance.Best regards:Aksel Christoffersen URL: https://forum.audiogames.net/post/501576/#p501576 -- Audiogames-reflector mailing list Audiogames-reflector@sabahattin-gucukoglu.com https://sabahattin-gucukoglu.com/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/audiogames-reflector
