Yup, that's a known thing. Also, I'm not a fan of most of the Skyracer levels, to be honest. Some of the "dogfights" are okay, but flying around and having to navigate stupid turbulence and barriers and laser storms is just mleh. There's way too much of it. The game is definitely pretty padded. It does a lot of things right, but it could probably be closer to 16-18 levels instead of 25, and still get most of the same story across.

That's weird. After I beat the game a few times, my skyracer just started shooting the barriers on its own. No kidding. As soon as a barrier is detected, it shoots missiles at it. Not just that, it shoots one missile every 0.5 seconds, so I almost never hit anything.

Well yes one missile takes out a barrier. One more missile takes out another, and another, and another, and another...and another...and on, and on, and on. It's just a bit excessive considering there's 5 levels or something where that's pretty much all you're doing. Those stages aren't challenging or difficult or even fun, and it kind of feels like I'm playing "beep" or something. Those levels are like 2000 tiles or something, so, it's just...a lot.

In my experience, one missile takes out a magic barrier. As far as crafting weapons for the Gold Security Carts on Stage 21-3, I am looking into the triple yo yo. I have three yo yos. I just need ten pieces of metal. My question is: On Stage 19-1, I see a big piece of iron at coordinates 250:0 or what not. Is that the metal that you need?

I usually have weapons with decent attack and just bull through these levels. I don't have the patience to do all of them properly, plus they're very repetitive and boring. They aren't as repetitive and as boring as the skyracer levels, but they're very, very close. If he still updates this game, I'd like to see the skyracer levels changed, or a penetrating weapon that is specifically meant for the barriers, or something, because, zz.

I dislike these levels almost as much as I dislike any level involving Karla, especially stages 11 and 12.That said, the cameras are slow and predictable. So are the carts, really. And the carts can be killed. I like to drop down behind them and snipe them in the back repeatedly (sometimes with the sniper rifle for its insane damage), then get the hell out of the way when they turn around. Their sight range is good, but I usually end up killing a few of the carts this way.That said, if you do get caught, run like hell. You will probably die, but it's possible not to, and I've deliberately tripped alarms just to watch the carnage, only to escape anyway.

@16, I alreadyhave almost1000 hp and I'm on stage 15 of myfourth or fifth playthrough, so you can definitelyhave more than enough hp by stage 21. lol@15, I actuallylike the alarm being triggered after one of those things has been destroyed. Conceptually that would be more atractive to me than the wayit is now where as soon as a hit is registered the alarm goes off.

You know when you damage a camera, it increases  it's sight range? I just beat 21-1, 21-2 and 21-3 normally. However, it's still fun to blow up the cameras with a Megga Shooter if you can find 100 Mini Shooters. Don't think you can destroy them on a difficulty that's not Normal, they'll probably be able to spot you before they die then you'll get one shot by Bomber Containers because it's not likely that you'll have over 1000 HP by stage 21. I'm trying to beat the game with no cheats, because the first time I did it I used the cat in one of the stages. So far, I haven't summoned the cat yet. 22, 23 and 24 are easy, and most of 25 is except 25-4 and 25-5. The end of 25-5 when you have to escape with Carla, then she dies and you have to beat the end bosses. Again.

Honestly if I was the dev, I'd just have said "nope, you can't destroy the cameras." The carts? Sure. They drive around after all. But I'd have thought the cameras would be protected, possibly in the ceiling or the wall. What I would have done was allow for explosions, like those from rockets, to blind it for a bit of time, enough time for someone fast enough to get past it. I wouldn't have told anyone about it of course, so people would have to figure that shit out themselves. There's too much linear gameplay for most games anyway. If I were especially crewel, I'd have said "ok, you blow up a stealth cart or a camera, there's a chance the alarm will be raised after a while because the cart/camera wasn't transmitting anymore."

I never had issues with that part. The idea is to dash through the cameras as they are turned in the other direction. So, consider this:If there is a camera at (341, 29) and you are to the right of it, wait until it turns left before dropping to its height and then run forward towards it. Eventually you will hear a drop, which you want to take, but for safety's sake, make sure to stop moving forward as soon as you fall. I don't remember if the cameras have a vertical range, but you don't want to find that out in that area. Keep doing this for the rest of them. You are always going to drop onto the camera's level on the opposite side from where they are.To those who are encouraging distruction, I hope you know that if you get spotted in 21-3 the door disappears.

OK. I'll try to describe the steps I am taking as best as I can.I started on coordinates 0,0. I check to see a camera is located at 20,50. So I walk up to 29,0 Because there is another camera at 50,0. I wait for the cameras to face left before climbing up. Then I clime to 29,15 and start running to 50,15. Yes my sonar is on. I know there are a couple of ledges that I have to jump on to. But eventually I arrive at coordinates 76,19. Using my camera, I check to make sure I can clear the drop off. Eventually I make the jump to coordinates 81,19. I see a camera at 85,0 and 113,19. So I climb to coordinates 114,39. From there to my right is a drop off and a 1 square platform. From here, I am stuck. I hope this helps.

Or, you could describe the steps you're taking, and what specifically is giving you trouble whih would then enable us to help. If you are where I think you are, that section is definitely escapable, or at least, to a point where you can run fast enough to avoid all the enemies. Use the object viewer, accessed by the d key. That's your best friend for any stage involving stealth.

@3 you can get mini shooters in stages 15 and 16. If you really want to play these levels in a style they actually weren't meant to be played in, go grind 16 2 until you have at least 1000 mini shooters, then you have enough to craft the omega shooter. 16-2 will be the quickest since there's lots of enemies and also lots of enemy containers to break open.

The best way to deal with them is, IMO, just to kill the fuckers. If you have a mega shooter, that'll do the trick. The omega shooter would be of even more help in this situation, but that'll take large amounts of time to craft.Do keep in mind though, if you decide to continue down the stealth root, getting spotted isn't always, or even usually, the end of you. Sure you get a shit load of enemy containers, but if you can put a reasonable amount of distance between yourself and them, which you can, you can still get out. Just make sure you've got plenty of healing items just in case shit really goes south.
