I agree, Grizzly Gulch is a cool game to dust off every now and then for nostalgic purposes.So, what you'll need to do is point to the setup file of Grizzly Gulch. Hit alt enter to get into its properties. then, control tab once, where you should see the compatibility tab. tab a few times, until you see where it says, "run this program in compatibility mode for." Check that box. Next, select Windows 98/Windows ME from the combo box that appears when you tab past that checkbox. You might be able to get away with setting the compatibility for Windows XP as well, but I set it earlier because that was the era that game was released in, so it made sense to me. To be extra safe, I also checked the box that says "run in 640x480 screen resolution." I'm not sure if this is strictly necessary, but it didn't harm anything, and it might help. finally, tab a couple more times until you see, "run this progr am as an administrator." It's very important that you check that box, otherwise you're going to have to completely disable UAC, and most people aren't comfortable with that, especially because that's a bit more involved in Windows 8 and 10 than it was in previous versions of Windows.Now, just tab to apply, press enter, and then press enter on OK, and it should work great. You won't have to repeat this process once the game is actually installed. It only seems to be the setup file that causes some sort of conflict. Oddly, it launches, whereas the newer titles don't at all, but then we get a lovely runtime error after selecting a difficulty level. I'll probably end up setting up a Windows 7 VM eventually, if I really want to play that or Hunter badly enough. Here's how you launch it so it works:1. go to the directory you are executing.2. hit shift tab until you're on the address bar.3. Right-click it, and copy the address.4. hit windows+x and then a to go into administrator command prompt.5. type cd6. make sure the mouse is focused on the command prompt, right-click, paste the address in, and hit enter.7. type the name of the executable you want to launch, and press enter.note: cd must have a space before the address is pasted in.I hope this helps. I can't quite remember which titles, though. Try finding the runtime. You may even be able to run the executable BSC itself provides, though that might be risky.
