The reason is an engine limitation which turned out to be the cause of the crash being too many 3d sounds. I made them all centered and merely fade in, but found it to be implausible for the hazards because panning stereo is part of what helps determine where hazards are. So I putb3d back for the hazards since they can kill the player instantly. The crash is now gone but unfortunately enemy sounds are still centered. This is okay since they have alerts which get louder as you get closer and they don't kill the player instantly. Aside from having fixed the crash, I also know the solution for putting all 3d sounds back in the game, simply to load a separate level fi le with each level. However, I'm unsure if it's my system or something else, but after updating, I noticed that the water, ennemie and possibly some other sounds don't pan, while pits and spikes do. This does make things a bit more dificult as mono isn't usually used in audiogames. Was this meant to occur with the update, or could this be some other bug that came from fixing the crash and other bugs? Hi jiro well I beat the game.I must say I didn't pick up on the monkey speech near roons I thought it was ambiance.One thing I will say, if you have brought griff 1 the playing is actually the same as griff 2, the roons are not all lieing round the place which was what they did on 1.The way I avoided the crash was start the second to last world, quit, exit and relaunch the game and then hit continue.Its good that you put the game out when it was out, though edge of winter, clockwork and the steampunk game are way overdue.Still its a good game. I'm working on a new fix right now to keep the crash from occurring. Thank you.[ a-t ] crashmaster, the monkey will speak when you are right near a runestone. Once he speaks just jump in the air and glide around where ever he spoke. He will only do this once so be sure to pay attention. Also, chibu the monkey can't see what's under the water, so try to dive into every pool when you swim to its center press enter to dive. Some pools have rune stones. Each pool can only be collected from once. Hope this info helps. Thanks! Search for Griff.wmb file. simply copy Griff.wmb and paste the duplicate in the same folder. You can copy and paste by highlighting the file and pressing control C then control V. Or right click and choose copy from the drop down list then choose paste from the same list again. Once you have a copy of the file in the same folder, right click on the copy of the file and choose to rename it. Rename it to Griff2. This way you have Griff.wmb and Griff2.wmb in the same folder. I've purchased Griff 1 and I was forced to give the link to other friend from another country to download it and then upload it on another available survice which I'm sure this is illegal but I had no choice but this. And now I've purchased Griff 2, and looking for someone from another country to download the link I've received after the payment process. I don't want to do this whenever a new product released from those great developers. Isn't there any alternatives? I'm really sorry but I'm frustrated. Re: Griff 2! New Sidescroller Game! Sorry you're having trouble Brad, luckily these are not bugs. Up and down aren't used in this game, as the levels are built as a side scroller. It functions purposefully like Crash Bandicoot bonus stages, where running up and down still make the player run in place, but don't get him anywhere. Focus on moving left to right. The jumps are not bugged either. The game takes practice and all you need to do is tap the arrow keys lightly. If you hear a chasm getting closer, let off the arrow keys and just inch your way closer by occasionally tapping the arrow key lightly. You also don't need to get so close, the second you feel the gravel, stop walking, just jump and hold jump, then press right immediately and keep holding jump. These jumps are easy because you start the game with the glide ability. At the end of the first level, you obtain super glide, so that makes it even easier. Practice some more and see if you can get very skilled at it. Thank you! So it has a completely new story, enemies and bonuses.The jumping in Griff 2 has been enormously improved due to the super glide ability which allows you to glide further after jumping sooner. Jumping over hazards is also more convenient due to magical charm collecting. Each charm enables you to be carried back to safety for another try next to the hazard. This feature is in the trailer. The crash bugs have been fixed with Griff 2 as well. So it's a far more solid gaming experience, however no worries because I will indeed be releasing a patch this weekend for the first Griff game.Thanks!
