I was able to adjust transform pads x and y with sliders and when I quickly looked through the rest of the options they seemed interactable. That's... not very good. It's just there are patches I'd really like to use for some projects, but they have just one or two annoyances about them that someone with access to the transform pads could probably remove easily. I don't have a true midi keyboard per say, I have a Nord that's primarily for playing live, but it can also be used as a midi controller. I'm not familiar enough with the Nord's menu structure to know if it can do anything besides the basics though, which is using the keys, the pitch bend and the effect wheel. Re: I'd like to work with loops in Logic/GB but my eyes are broken I would've thought that any old MIDI keyboard's nobs would do the trick, but since it's not a Kontakt instrument (nor is it integrated in any way with NI products) you won't get that same level of accessibility. Even if you had access to the transform pad element, how would you know where the cursor was on the pad? How would you move it? How would you know which out of 8 positions referred to each effect? My answer... I don't know unfortunately. On iOS it just used Direct Touch, but, um... I've done some research and it seems most controls to change the alchemy synth sounds are in their transform pads. But is there any way at all to access those using the keyboard? VO doesn't want to interact with them unfortunately, and I can't seem to find any alternatives how to change the current synth patch's properties. You can copy audio from finder, loops from the loops browser (accessed by pressing o) and midi and audio regions within tracks. When you copy and paste audio loops garageband or logic should create a new track for them and you should be able to work with it just as you would any other.
