Sure. It's not really a guide, just notes regarding all of the paths that a character needs to take to complete his/her part of the grid

Re: Is There an up-to-date list somewhere, or could somebody make one?

You pretty much need to use NVDA along with OCR for windows 10, not relying on NVDA's OCR addon. You do need to press NVDA+R every time you want to read text, and to be honest it's pretty accurate, for ffx at least.

Re: Is There an up-to-date list somewhere, or could somebody make one?

I know about Brandon Cole, actually met him a long time ago when we were both in High School although he probably doesn't remember. So I'm guessing since I'd be using Steam rather than, say, an XBox, then I just need to use NVDA's OCR function, not worry about a video capture card? How efficient is the OCR method, though? If it's anything like using Instant Translate where you have to hit a key combination to get each piece of text, this would really turn me off. Also, how do I review the output from the scanned text? Does it open it in its own window so you could do something like copy/paste if you wanted to?

Interesting they would have guilty gear on steam. I used to play them years ago, I read that sega wouldn't release the games to the developer, so they created BlazBlu to get around all that. This was years ago that I read about that, I guess it's not a surprise things have changed over time. Do you guys remember killer instinct? Great games, terrible sound quality.

Re: Is There an up-to-date list somewhere, or could somebody make one?

If you mean the fight where you're on the boat, yeah. If you use OCR it's easy to know who you're attacking. For the grid, I have all the paths written in a file, plus when you're positioned on a node you can use OCR to know what sphere goes where. Also, I completed the first Cloister of Trials in a matter of 10 minutes using OCR. It tells you the type of sphere you're holding. I'm honestly looking forward to see how the rest of the game will go.

If you like AHC, maybe Final Fantasy x would catch your attention. I'm currently playing the game without sighted assistance using OCR and I'm having a blast. It's not a game for the blind, but it's definitely playable. I discovered this game thanks to Brandon Cole. He's also blind and  he beat the game a few times in the past.

Re: Is There an up-to-date list somewhere, or could somebody make one?

@2Thanks for the effort, but I specifically said accessible games that can be played with a USB controller. They should fill both criteria.@3Thanks, that was much more helpful. I now know that for best compatibility, I should just get a USB XBox controller and get used to it, even though I'd rather have a Play Station one.I guess I should have also pointed out that I'm not too interested in fighting games since I liked them when I could see better, the appeal is lost for me now. I'm more interested in games with playable story modes and of course the games from our very own community or that were made specifically for us like A Hero's Call. I know that's playable with an XBox controller. I would just like some more options before I purchase one.I know I could set up Steam and I do plan to do that, and I know there is a list of mainstream accessible games on this forum, so maybe what I'm really asking for is what games for the blind can be played with a controller and which one should I get?

Re: Is There an up-to-date list somewhere, or could somebody make one?

hello.most mainstream PC games can be played with a controller, however for some games if you are playing it with a PlayStation controller the button layout is a bit strange, you need to use a program that can emulate an Xbox 360 controller such as DS4 windows if you are using a PS4 controller.as for the games, I can list some of them, which are:Street fighter IV and it's expansions, Street fighter V and the arcade edition, Injustice 1 & 2, MK 9, MK X, MK 11, Skullgirls, Resident evil 5, Resident evil 6, Resident evil 7, Shank 1 and 2, Watchmen part 1 and 2, Samurai warriors 4-II which is unfortunately has no option for english voices, the hyperdimension neptunia spinoff games which are beat-em-ups, the first one is hyperdimension neptunia U action unleashed and the second one is MegaTag Mention Blanc + Neptune VS zombies, DMC 5, I think this one is partially playable, blazblue and the guilty gear games, note that all the guilty gear XRD games doesn't have fighting parts in the story mode, the only thing that you can do there is sit back and watch the story until the end.also if you like adventure games there are some that are playable, but keep in mind that these games are not designed for everyone, it's only for peoples who is willing to take a very long time beating the game, simply because of the parts where you have to solve puzzles, complete quicktime event sequences, and explore areas while finding objects, talk to people ETC. those games are life is strange and it's prequel game, life is strange 2, game of thrones, minecraft story mode, tales from the borderlands, the wolf among us, the walking dead, batman the telltale series and it's second season, night trap 25th anniversary edition, LateShift, back to the future, and broken age.that's all for the list, hope it helps.

Re: Is There an up-to-date list somewhere, or could somebody make one?

Well I can't give a complete list, but I'd say most if not all the older fighting games and even the newer ones are accessible, but I don't know how many can be played by using a USB controller. As for other games that are accessible, a couple like resident evil 5 and 6 were found to be playable, and a forum member managed to play odin sphere years ago.Sacred citadel was accessible, and so is skullgirls, skullgirls might have controller support on PC, but if not you can talk to the developer, they are usually pretty responsive.
