I always use jaws and am not really experienced in using NVDA. I would need that menu too, to actually try and make my external harddrive the default setup location. If you haven’t updated steam it will automatically do so when steam is launched. Re: Is there an accessible way to use steam in offline mode? If you run Steam and it can't establish a connection to their servers, you will get a dialog letting you retry or run in offline mode. If you run Steam with the no-dwrite switch, this dialog should read, at least it did a few years ago when I had to do it. Re: Is there an accessible way to use steam in offline mode? @4, have you set the no-dwrite command on steam? if you haven't set it up you have to press alt enter at the steam desktop shortcut and type -no-dwrite after the target path. optionally, you can make steam automatically log-in when you run steam, however it won't work if steam is set to automatically start alongside windows. You’ll hear it says steam, view, friends, games, and help.To open one of these menus press NVDA numpad devide to move the mouse to the review cursor, then press numpad devide to do a left mouse click.You’ll have many options when you open up the menu, to click it position the review cursor to the option you want to click, like offline mode in the steam menu bar, then press NVDA and numpad divide then do a left click to activate it.
