It's actualy frustrating when I am just browsing a bank and I need to select the preset to actualy hear how it sound, then play a bit, exit the virtual midi keyboard and do this all over again...Do you know any better way, for example a script what can select the next preset in the same folder where my loaded .fxp file is? But Serum has so many parameters that it becomes a monster mess, so what I often do is that I base myself on presets that I find everywhere, and I use them either like that or by modifying them. For the others, they are samples or vsti (several tracks have been made with serum). I tested Sonar for a while but I found the interface complicated, it rejected me. Oh wow, the main melody instrument's giving the whole song a nice feel.About the drums : I was expecting more like bassy kick, maybe with a little bit of low-pass filtering.The clap sounds cool for me, maybe a chorus or a reverb will make the sound more warm and full...The second part after the piano / keys transient is super cool and the ending too.Sometimes, for example at the very begining of the track, I feel that something is missing there, some pads or white noise sweeps won't hurt.But the main melody and the plucks at the end of the track are kick ass awesome, what vsti are you using?
