K, thanks.  Yeah I also found out I don't even have an Applications key on my keyboard and so I had to download one of the app key scripts so I could use Right ctrl.  WHen I used omni mode from  Kontakt, it'd give me an error message and then the instrument would change, but I figured it out. I can bring it up in midi editor, select all, then ctrl+F2 and change the midi channel there.  This will also allow me to use more than 1 instrument per kontakt process.  I'm definitely getting Reaper down.

hi, you should switch the kontakt mode to omny. That way it will receive things on every channel. I sent you  pm with my skype but I almost never use it.

Well my problem is with pre-made midi files with more than 4 channels... or 4 sources of input.In Reaper, I output each midi track to a separate file, but no matter what I do, I can't get the midi channel to change   My project will require me to use at least two instances of Kontakt, but unfortunately, I can't change the desired midi output channels *shrugs*.   I guess I need to use or at least keep trying with the kontact midi channel settings, but even that confuses me a bit.

Well now that I'm geting Kontakt to work in SOnar X3, I can't even figure out what  to do with Reaper. Tis is a nother subject for another thread, but I'm dumbfounded on how to get anything to even select inputs on Reaper.  going to the IO panel, I see a lot of stuff for outputs and volume/panning, but nothing or inputs.  the heck am I missing?

Hi, I would also like to have the cords for adding libraries.On another note I just downloaded the scripts again, useing 5.60 and it doesnt let me load instruments, and yes I am at the resolution of 1024 768.THis is wierd because around last year, I had all this working.

My native resolution is 1920x1080.  The plugin recommends using 1024x768 so I tried that, and tried the native resolution and both seem to give the plugin  shortcuts for the script that work otherwise that I can access.    As for co-ordinance of the mouse, that will be a new one for me to try, but not scared to.  I run the plugin in bridged mode under Reaper, and/or in VST mode or general mode under Sonar X3.  I"d most likely use Reaper since the plugin in bridged mode seems to work more effectively.Shoot me a PM  or if you have skype, I'll give you my contact info.

that is weird. I know adding libraries changed when kontakt was updated, I think I am on version 5.6.9.. if I recall correctly. Not sure if the demo allows you to use the add libraries button and now I understand the issue, you just had to be more specific about it. Which screen resolution do you have and do you use kontakt on the fx chain window or on a separate one? If the demo does not have this command available, I do have the full version and could probably give you the exact mouse coordinates for it once I know which screen resolution you have. To add libraries you have to select the directory where all of them are in and the plug-in will recognice them automatically.

When I do ctrl + Alt + A to add a library, the shortcut doesn't do anything. I even changed my screen resolution to fit, and yeah...  Ah well.  I will figure it out.

the demo works fine and is supposed to allow you to load the libraries. There are many free libraries you can use with the free version kontakt player, I really don't understand why there is so much fuss, frustration and apparently too much work about it. Sorry if the link wasn't at all what you were expecting I guess.

it's nice to see they have a kontakt script, problem is though, since I dont have any libraries loaded, and I can't load them myself, the script demo is useless, and unfortunately, with that, I cannot even test the demo to see if it will work for me.  *shrugs*
