Re: NVDA lag problem

Ironcross, not even. It helps to a degree, but the underlying problem is still there, and it shows.

Re: NVDA lag problem

A lot of lag issues with explorer can be solved by opening control panel, going to file Explorer Settings, going to the view tab, finding "launch folder windows in a separate process", and turning it on.  I have no idea if it will fix this particular problem, but in general it removes most of the explorer lag on my machines.

Re: NVDA lag problem

Explorer2 stops this from happening. Except it still freaks it's little delicate shit over .ogg files.

Re: NVDA lag problem

@haily_merry... that makes sense. I've heard people say they have lag problems with win10 1903 and up, so maybe that's got something to do with it?Also @Gaki_shonen... I am using open shell which replaces the default file explorer, but it still happens.

Re: NVDA lag problem

This is a problem with file explorer. Does anyone know if there’s a way to get windows explorer from Windows 7 to Windows 10?

Re: NVDA lag problem

From everything i've heard, and from prior experience, this seems to be a pretty common issue. It might not even be specific to NVDA, I'd be willing to wager it's an issue with windows itself. I remember having this same issue while using jaws too, so...
