Re: NVDA lag problem A lot of lag issues with explorer can be solved by opening control panel, going to file Explorer Settings, going to the view tab, finding "launch folder windows in a separate process", and turning it on. I have no idea if it will fix this particular problem, but in general it removes most of the explorer lag on my machines. I am using open shell which replaces the default file explorer, but it still happens. It might not even be specific to NVDA, I'd be willing to wager it's an issue with windows itself. I remember having this same issue while using jaws too, so...
