Hi,connar,if you did everything I told you to,it should work fine.and yes,running vip as admin even if you are on a admin account (which btw,isnt a good idea) does help.always set vip to run as administrator and you should be fine.Before installing the pack,as I said before make sure that you have created a character profile for the moo.hthURL: http://forum.audiogames.net/viewtopic.php?pid=175357#p175357

hi, to get the soundpack working, this works for all 64 bit variants of windows:the first thing you will want to do is uninstall everything. get rid of all files relating to vipmud or miriani.second, reinstall and reregister vipmud if necisary.then go to the list of characters, hit add, fill out the information, and then after saving your character, close vipmud.then install the soundpack and when it asks for the path point it to c:\program files (x86) if necisary\vipmud\miriani. the installation will thereafter work. i had to put the contents of the zip file into the sounds folder, though to get sound.URL: http://forum.audiogames.net/viewtopic.php?pid=175270#p175270

Hello connor,you seem to have tryed most of the things which didnt needed doing and as a result,you got nothing.did you read the install file? perhaps if you had you wouldnt have gotten,nothing. Here is how I got it working.I downloaded the zip file,never used the autoupdater since I dont think there is need.extracted it to a place where I wanted the pack files to be at,ran the setup.exe pointed it to the vipmud miriani folder,and that was that.Before doing this,though. I already had created a character profile in miriani.In windows 8.1 a few things might be needed to get it work,but a friend of mine is useing it so I know that it works just fine.run vip as admin,and perhaps the setup.exe file,too and see if that changes stuff for you.grryfURL: http://audiogamesforum.captivatingsound.com/viewtopic.php?pid=174928#p174928
