After that, in the next page that opens, you will find some versions of that particular thing and then you can click on the latest one and download it. There is a list of things that are being updated for community, I think it will be or it is now.A lot of addons will not be released at least for the website till we actually launch.They tried that with a few and what it means is you will get errors on update unless you turn automatic updates off at startup so things will not continue that way.For the rest talking to developers for addons will hopefully get them to update them.the japanese translater addon for games has just been updated and released in both current and future branches.The next thing we need to tackle is the interfaction interpreters addon and a few more things but yeah. Yeah, thanks for mentioning that project, that should help people like you ethin and I'm pretty happy that some steps are finally being taken to address long standing issues like bad developer documentation, outdated Python version which will in turn bring better optimisation for users. For now, look at developer changes and you should be good to go, though NVDA remote might be slightly harder than others due to the new speech framework and the way the addon relies on speech functions a lot. The project for 2020 however is a fully documented source code including examples and more, called Project Alexandria. Its however still in the planning phase.The NVDA 2019.3 changelog however lists all the breaking changes relevant for add-on developers, so by knowing them, it should be fairly easy to upgrade an already existing add-on if you don't want to develop new features. I didn't test the addon myself as I'm still waiting for remote to be ported before I switch, but a few people told me it works fine. Try to uninstall and clear the file AddonsState in the NVDA's app data folder, then install again and see if it works. Well, there is also this implementation of the IBM Voices core for NVDA: https://github.com/davidacm/NVDA-IBMTTS-DriverIts not illegal, since it doesn't ship Eloquence with it and its ment to be used with a legally purchased ViaVoice/Eloquence core, but you could theoretically use the files which ship with literally every other Eloquence add-on and it works fine. Its the first Eloquence driver for NVDA 2019.3 AFAIK. I don't remember off the top of my head if the bluetooth add-on has made the cut yet, but there's a list of compatible add-ons which is being updated as more authors are making changes to their code. As far as I know, the update I think you are talking about is verry important in the history of NVDA because something substantial, or not, will change, there are going to switch to python 3. If you want to know more info about that, please reply, this has more to do with programming than with actual user experience.As for add-ons, it's the responsability of the add-on developer comunity to update their add-ons, so most of them, excluding the abandoned ones, should be upgraded by the time the new NVDA is released.
