Re: is ea's mhl 18 playable? NHL 2004 is okay if you are using jaws, I haven't tested it with NVDA. All the menus are accessible, and the stats are saved in html whenever a game is played. Newer NHL games are definitely harder to play due to the commentators not describing everything that is happening in the game, unlike when you watch hockey on TV or listen to it on the radio, that is why I strongly suggest you not to get this game if your goal is to play it by controlling the players on the ice. If you are like me and you like to manage/coach a team, then I'd suggest you to use OCR with NHL 19.
