Re: need help fixing the A key on bluetooth keyboard I might use something very small, like maybe a knife point or something to pry up the key, not off, but up a bit, then see if maybe you can suck something out with a vacuum hose, or better yet, if you still have some compressed air in the can, turn the keyboard over, then blow short bursts into it with the can, hoping to jar whatever it is loose. Try to avoid eating around them, they're not really great with dealing with food particles. Re: need help fixing the A key on bluetooth keyboard If it's bluetooth its probably butterfly and you don't want to go messing with those as they have these two interlocking plastic tab thingies that if you try to pry the key cap off, you'll ruin it. Might be worth it to buy a new one at that point. Re: need help fixing the A key on bluetooth keyboard Hi.Well technically iff the board is like that there are 2 options.1. if you are able to you should be able to simply stick something under your key caps and prize them off.Then wash the caps in warm water, and wipe the board inside with a damp cloth and then dry it and put it back.My mechanical board can be cleaned this way but I havn't ever bothered though I know its designed for it.A standard board you may be able to do this to even if its not designed for it but its a lot more easier to break the keys.If its an expensive board, most of those you should be able to prize the fcaps off and clean, look at the manual, there may be even in some cases a tool to do it.I wouldn't bother with a cheap board.Just buy another keyboard and throw the other one away.I have had issues on a laptop board and while I managed to clean it I managed to bust the board, it cost me about 200 bucks for a new board.And I guess while thats not that bad in the long run, fact is 200 bucks can get you a really cheap as chips laptop or android tablet which really begs the question if its worth trying to clean it at all.My unit I don't use the board much as while at the desk my gaming unit serves me well.
