Re: Sarah 1.2 release date In the update I am trying to make it so that you can add your own music, so if you have the music of Harry Potter movies on MP3 format, you could copy the songs into the game folder and rename them to match the default music which is mostly from David Bowie's Labyrinth movie.The current version is self-voicing but I am adding screen reader and SAPI voice capability to the game so you can adjust the volume, speech rate and type of voice to suit your preferences. Right now the game still starts out as you enter the castle, and you can still explore the ground floor and basement for free, but there is a way to exit and explore the grounds and Hogsmede town but only if you have a registration key.The game engine only allows one level for free play, so I could either pick the way the game starts in version 1.0 and 1.1 or switch it to start in the town, but entering the castle would require you to purchase a key. For example the real name of the Fat friar.The map gives their real full name.In the books it never states his so I made up,Friar Frederic Tuck.You can change it back to fat friar if you wish in the new version. But if the new book has the correct name, I will try to change it.In version 1.2 I will be including a Hogsmeade level and expand the forbidden forest and Hogwarts grounds. In the update the goal is not to leave the castle, I will let you know how to win the game later when the update is finished. Re: Sarah 1.2 release date I'm the developer, Phil.David Greenwood sent me the new GMA Game engine in 2004. Just as I started on the update, my Dad passed away. I was his only living child so I had to deal with selling his house and all his 100 years of stuff.Once that was finished, my Mother in Law passed away, and my wife had to go through the same process.I hope to finish the update this year pending other tragedies.One thing that is time consuming about the new engine is that it asks for the voice sound files to also be in text as shown in the game update to Shades of Doom.This means typing out all that Sarah says in the game into a text file.This allows SAPI and your screen reader to be the voice of the game and allows you to speed up or slow down the voice.This takes lots of time but I am almost finished with this change.I am having problems with my email server so I now get messages only from my back-up ,phi...@bex.netThat is where you can write me or request new keys to the Sarah game.
