Re: Seeking your opinion on these microphones: If you want to record a wider range of things, I'd go for the first microphone you listed. The different polar patterns will allow you to pick up sound from different angles. Cardioid, for example, is good for podcasting and spoken word. Stereo, by contrast, would be good for recording sound being produced in a horizontal fashion, like a guitar. Re: Seeking your opinion on these microphones: Although if you can get a mixer, you should really go for an analog microphone such as the encore200, particularly if you want a good vocal sound. Seeking your opinion on these microphones:
Seeking your opinion on these microphones: Hi There. I'm about to buy a new microphone but I'm absolutely beginner in that. It is my first time looking up for microphones and I have no idea which one of these would do better. I really could use your help. ThanksFirst one is yanmai sf-900. I think it's something comparable to blue yetty blackout addition. Has 4 pickup patterns - stereo sound, cardioid, omnidirectional, bidirectional(If i'm not mistaken).Next one is comica STM-USB. This one has two patterns - cardioid and omnidirectional. The cardioid pattern seems to have somewhat a better quality than the previous mic, but that is what I'm really not certain of. I really appreciate it if someone would compare the cardioid quality of these two microphones for me.And then there is J. T. R. Std 700 which I couldn't find a single review for on youtube. But since It's amongst those microphones which I can afford and is using a USB cable to connect, I'd thought I'd ask for your opinion on it as well.I'm looking for a microphone with which I could record a good quality vocal, instrument sound - possibly guitar, keyboard or piano, and such. And I need it to be a USB microphone. My choices are extremely limited because of the sanctions imposed on my country. So I would be grateful if You could give me something from between these three that I mentioned.
