Guess Ill either have to figure out how to accept files through the new skype or just request they not send it through skype. Other than that its useable. Another way to solve it would be to downgrade the version and prevent the software from automatically updating. Well, theres ways to get round that if using something else, at least if using Chrome OS, but thats another thread for another day. I happen to use text chat a lot, and it irritates me that I cant have my conversations in separate windows anymore. Skype 6.22 problem Hi there. So a couple days ago I decided to bootcamp my mac. Id been told by others that the latest version of skype is just a real pain in the ass to deal with, and honestly they wernt wrong. Installer forces me to upgrade 6.22, and I still havent found any way around this. Yes its useable, but when I cant even accept a simple file transfer then I feel something may be a miss. Oh, and yes Ive enabled accessibility mode. If anyone has any way at all to bipass this force update, Id be glad to hear it.
