Firstly the term ""interaction" is too broad. A sighted person could say "yes I had a good interactionwith a blind person, I gave money to a disabled person collecting for charity" If your trying to see what difference being blind makes to social interactions you need to specify your interactions a little more specifically. You could do this by either A, having some specific type of you were talking about, for example conversation, or B, asking someone a question like ""do you know any blind people", "do you consider any of them friends?", "when was the last time you had friendly social contact with a blind person eg, going out for a drink, spending some time etc?" I would also not try to make one survey for blind and sighted people or have "blind" and "sighted " as a broad category like male and female (which in itself isn't that broad a category anyway according to many people). After all odds are there are very few males who won't regularly interact with female s in some capacity or other, but there are lots of sighted people who don't interact with blind people at all. Similarly, blind people will inevitably interact with sighted people at some points, even if just when shopping. So I would personally construct two surveys rather than having all information on one, either that or chose one group, eg, blind or sighted people, and attempt to gather data from that group.Lastly, I would consider what sort of "good social interaction" you mean, and which time your talking about. yesterday for example my wife and I were shopping. I encountered a very annoying (and rather thick), bank clerk, a very nice person in the supermarket, and a very nice waitress when we went out for lunch. So which interaction should I talk about? Similarly, while all were professional interactions, none happened to be with friends on that occasion. Likewise, even if we just confine matters to friendly social reactions, the reaction I'd get from sighted friends who already know me and an attempt to actually make new friends in some social setting are two very different matters. All this is to say, you need to make your survey a little less general and more specific to which area of human interaction you want to study in order for it to say anything useful.
