Nice beginner article.A few questions:1. Is Cheat Engine the best/most accessible software for cheating in games?2. This guide covers all the beginner stuff, stuff I already know about. I've been wanting to experiment with storing addresses for a particular game so you can, for example, change health, money etc. in TBR or other games without having to find the values every time you want to change them. Adding addresses to the list and saving them as a cheat table doesn't work; the addresses change every time the game is launched, so you need to use pointers, and in my brief time spent trying to figure out how they work, I had very little success. Can anyone offer any, pointers?

Unfortunately, no. The only way to modify this to happen is to lock the value at 100. Honestly don't know why this game doesn't check for maxclip ammo but what do you know.

Thanks for this. I have one question though. I'm playing the blood rain, and the pistol normally has 14 bullets in each clip. I  modify it so that it has say 100 bullets in the clip, i can do that without any problem. But when I empty the 100 bullet clip and I reload, the clip goes back to the regular 14 bullet clip. Is there a way so that when I reload the pistol, instead of each clip giving me 14 bullets it gives me 100 bullets as I set it before?

Some notes on this guide:1) This does not work on all games, and this (especially) does not work with most online games that are written properly.2) If you are sane, whatever you do, do *not* try this with any steam game. There is a very high chance that games from Steam contain the VAC anti-cheating system, so there is a very high possibility of you getting banned or worse.3) For now, speed hacks work. I am working on a way to discover a speed hack within a game that is *actually* reliable. For now, servers can prevent this by using a bit of mathematics (if they're online, that is).
