Only items that match the partial string will be visible."Edit 3: Here's the fix. In Xplorer2, go to tools>advanced options and you'll be taken to a massive window that isn't very accessible. You'll have to use screen review mode or OCR to view what's on screen. Either way, find the Incremental search auto-filter option by pressing left and right arrows on the main pane or left click the approximate location of the setting. You can view a description for the selected item at the bottom of the result. Once you've found the item, replace 3 with 0 in the textbox or drag the slider to 0. Once you've done that, click okay and relaunch Xplorer2. You're problem should now be fixed.Hope that helped. You can do this by manually editing the registry keys associated with this or check the relevant checkbox in the Xplorer2 setup. Both will launch Xplorer2 by pressing windows+e and make Xplorer2 open in places where File Explorer would. And since Xplorer2 has a neat command search, it shouldn't be too hard after that (assuming I can turn it off in the first place). You can type in the first few letters of the item to have it search in the current directory. Still, this can be pretty annoying at the best of times, and even more so when using FLN. I'm still trying to work out what the feature is even officially known as though. Weird bug with Xplorer. Any fixes? Hi.So I just switched to Xplorer a few weeks ago, and I really like it. However, there's one slight problem. Whenever trying to locate a file that's in a list of multiple files with the same first letter, pressing that letter about three or four times will bring me into this weird address bar thing. Is there any way to get around this or prevent it from happening?
