The first time I ever activated a Linode, it was available immediately, with no human action required. I'd highly suspect fraud at this point, and would recommend you contact your bank to ensure that no transactions have been executed on your card without your concent, and then contact Linode to see if your user account exists in their systems (and to determine if your order was ever processed). That happens a lot in certain geographic locations, and is why I'm not getting into the hosting business. Yes, your card's *probably* valid, but everyone says that. Why Linode's activation process is so terrible? Hi all,SO I went ahead and registered with Linode today, I had successfully register with them however, about 30 minutes later, I checked my e-mail. They need me to scan at the back of my card in order to continue with the activation process. As a blind person, I hate to take picture of something because we can't do it, right? Unlike Digital Ocean, their activation system is pretty straight forward, and doesn't requires you to scan your card.
