Do you mean that it filled up your disk?It's not unreasonable for a 200+-page PDF document being run through an OCR program to take tons and tons of RAM however. They could probably do better, but it's not unreasonable.And if it was your hard disk and you only have 7GB free, run Disk cleanup. 7GB is very little by modern standards and that can easily be taken over by temp files and the like so you'll want an external drive or to get rid of content at some point soon if that's the case. Why does Abbyy take up so much space when converting pdfs? I tried to convert a 264 page book with Abbyy fine reader 12 pro and when I got to 164 page, my memory filled up and I got an error. I mention that I had seven gb of free space when I started. I tried this several times, with the same results.Shouldn't the processes run in RAM? What does the application have to do with the ROM?
