Plus, you can just as easily add it to IE as you can to Firefox or Chrome. There's information on the Rumola site that explains how this can be done.My problem with Rumola was that it didn't always fill in the captcha, which is why I stopped using it. The thing is, I don't know if it's wise to recommend Captcha be Gone as a good replacement yet, because it's very new, and may very well be buggy. As I said, I've heard conflicting information about this, and I don't know what's actually true. But I would be extremely wary of putting down $36 for a captcha solving service. Why, you may ask? Well, I got screwed over by a company called Captcha Monster a couple of years ago. I used the service for a couple of months, and it worked great. But then one day, the owner decided to take the site down, claiming that it wasn't generating eno ugh revenue. That may very well have been true, but it was pretty frustrating to have paid for something that was already on its way out. I wouldn't want the same thing to happen in this case, which is why I stay away from it personally. I just don't know how long such a service can sustain itself. Yes, Rumola does support Firefox, chrome, and Safari, but from my experience, you Half to purchase credits, and they expire after so many months to a year. The other thing is,@Least Captcha be gone does not lag the browser down, whereas Rumola does. Just thought I would add my $.02 worth. I am paying the three dollars a month, and unlike Rumola, Captcha solves are unlimited.PortiaPs. Is it solving most captchas you throw at it successfully? Is CaptchaBeGone for Internet Explorer?I personally would like to see the audio challenge option be replaced with a text based question, many of the audio challenges have the audio so heavily processed that they are often difficult to understand, which is just as bad as no alternate challenge being available. In fact, I'd just go straight with the year plan because you'll save the most with that. The thing with most captchas is that most captchas have pictures. That's the kind of captcha that will be solved by captcha be gone. Those textual ones are fully exposed, thus captcha be gone won't have any picture to unscramble. Giovani, keep in mind that unless someone knows otherwise, the webvisum team are not actively maintaining the addon which explains why only the tweaked resigned addon works, and who knows how long it will. That's the only reason it's still running today, is because it was resigned. Besides, all Solona did was send the captcha to a human, whom in turn would solve it themselves and them give you the result, thus it took a minute or two. Webvisum, uh, let's just say it's hanging by a thread, I haven't seen much activity besides the new signed version which was not pushed out by Webvisum. Captcha be gone is very reasonable, $3 a month or $33 a year for now, because there are still launch price discounts, so might as well get it while you can. I have the yearly plan and am not regretting it one bit. Keep in mind that the antispam systems are changing, there are companies that will just have that simple checkbox to click, then companies that will stop at nothing to prevent spam yet could care less about the accessibility. So for an anticaptcha service to stay afloat, and for the server to run, the reliable ones come with a price.
