Re: boat simulator v1.3 released HiMaterial is only a third of the challenge at most, look at the current game, to be honest, its not very realistic in a few spots, and other parts could be much improved, I have 250GB of sounds, all Im saying is that I like the game, and want to help make it more realistic, this will free him up for more coding.I can mod the current game if you want me to prove it, but since only some of the sounds use ogg and the others use this, NJS format, I cant.Please ask him to reconsider, thanks. Re: boat simulator v1.3 released HiYes I do, specifically I have sound ideas ship shape and the bbc librarys 2 CDs of boat and ship sounds, which is mostly what your interested in I am guessing, I also use http://www.freesound.org and I have lots of seaside and dock ambiance as well, Im sure I also have some boat sounds in 6000 general, and probably some other libraries too.I use gold wave for my audio editing, and a bit of audacity too.Look forward to hearing back from you and Nathan. Weve redid the menus to be with human speech instead of SAPI. And a few bug fixes. I guess Ill have to do a key for the boat. And may be someday well release the game as commercial, but were now far from that. I cant give you the release date of v1.4, but thats it. Any suggestion will be appreciated. A few suggestions:- probably adding a Radio device to get Messages or comunicate with other ships would be cool.- Maybe you could make a Mission mode were you have to complete certain Tasks.- different weather conditions.- dangerous situations like fights with pirates or storms and such.
