I mean, it can't be more obvious that you should not run a beta on your main device, but preferably a secondary one. However, on this page over at https://developer.apple.com/documentati … ease-notes Apple lists some known issues, and one of them says:ImportantUpdating to iOS & iPadOS 14 beta from previous versions of iOS & iPadOS might take significantly longer than expected. Data loss could occur if the update is interrupted. (59101197)

don't update to ios 14 beta until it's stable

So today I ran in to a problem when I updated to ios 14 beta 2. My phone displayed the attempting data recovery message. I got it working now. I reported the issue. I see some people updated to the beta. Just be carefull.
