Re: help with making ibmtts protable Not necessarily. It would depend on how you acquired the TTS library, which would then depend on which application you purchased. Most Eloquence or Viavoice distributions install registry keys to maintain their validity, thus are not suited for portable use. The Eloquence distribution in my copy of Kurzweil 1000 in my case must also stay within its installation directory. Unfortunately, no true legal copy of eloquence does well when run portable. Re: help with making ibmtts protable I think the right way to go with this would be to just install the TTS when you are running a portable copy of NVDA. That way, it stays in the folder where the portable version is, and you can take it everywhere. help with making ibmtts protable So I got the ibmtts addon and I'm wondering how to make it portable so I can save it in nvda portable backups. Is it just better to copy the addon to the portable nvda folder then install the addon after installing nvda on a new computer or is there a better way?
