Well sadly bgt games are like this because of how they are compiled.I wouldn't trust windows defender.I wouldn't even trust what it calls the virus names.Nvda controler is not a virus.I have many bgt and other controlers on other programs.You can download a fresh copy of nvda controler client from other places.If nvda controler any new versions are being put as a virus then its probably another false positive.Nvda latest was also detected as a virus, it was reported and the database for windows defender promptly updated.This is probably the same deal.I have many bgt games, and thank god they are all on another drive.Its only the compiled files that have the issue. Re: idiotic sandbox, bloody cheers concept has just been released! thats weird, i have never seen that. might i recomend possibly, taking all of the .bgt files, putting them on a different drive or syncing service, then backup whatever else you think you might need (installers/zips preferabley in case the folders are infected) and then reformat/move them to a vm to code on. a fresh one, get the latest you can. This is just so that if there are any viruses that are infecting the dll's or your computer, they are removed, and that would narrow down the possiblities of it being your fault by a large margen. Like someone else said, i'm not saying that your haking either, but, its just a good thing to try to do in case something really bad comes out of it.
