HEllo.My friend and i can play topspeed 3 verry nicely.What i do, is i go to google and type in whatismyip.Then there is some or other website that can display my ip address. i go to the config tool, and i type the ip there.]Then i give that same ip address to my friend.But what i can tell you to do is, ratherr get your friend to come to you, and create a game on the local network, as that works the best.But a friend and i have platyed a game over the internet, and it is still working and it is still possable.

I think the problem might be because maybe one of you is using a router. it's pretty impossible to create a server on topspeed if you have a router because usually they have dinamic IPs. You might also want to make sure that the ports of the game are forwarded on both computers.

Hello.Well I haven't played top speed 3 in years but I've never heard of something like this happening. You might be right, it might not be supported anymore. But try and enter the ip carefully and try again.Hth.

please help, topspeed racing game question

Hi,me and a friend want to do some racing with topspeed. We both have topspeed 3 installed but can't get a multiplayer race working, that is if it's even still supported.Right now, I just create a game on the internet, give him my IP from google and he enters it into the config file and then he tries to join. This results in no games found. WE have also tried to allow internet access with the windows firewall.Any help would be appreciated.
