Hi.if you press capslock pluss f 12 it turns reading characters on and off,Im not sure if that is any help to you. I tried to read by character and could do it using notepad. I think narator is good but for this kind of stuff Id recommend NVDA.

question about the narrator

hello everyone!when I try to edit som text in Word or Notepad, or edit any presentation in powerpoint, while trying to read the line, the narrator speaks only the first character, and if I go with the right arrow and try to read the line with arrow up or low, he speaks the last caractér I positioned.what can i do?

Yes, the problem is that the narrator does not correctly read the lines, he speaks the first letter
