Re: reaper just slowed down after nvda update

hiJust came to give an update on the situation. It seems like installing the latest version of nvda wasn't the problem. this lag drove me crazy to the point that I couldn't take it anymore, so I went to reaper settings directory, deleted everything but the file related to scanned VST directories, and reconfigured reaper again. Problem solved!I don't think nvda update had anything to do with it now, but those lags started yesterday, right after I installed the new NVDA.If only I knew what changed that caused all this.anyway, thanks for all the helpand @4 I'm using osara

Re: reaper just slowed down after nvda update

have not thought about this much and have not upgraded. But... have you probably, just out of curiosity, posted this to the apropriate group at groups.io? no one  seems to have mentioned this as of now in there, just yet. Also, which accessibility extension are you using?

Re: reaper just slowed down after nvda update

I'm using a komplete audio 2 with asio sound system for reaper, and my internal sound card for nvda; plus that lag is only happening for changing items and tracks. I don't think It's the sound card

Re: reaper just slowed down after nvda update

You sure it isn't soundcard priority? We are under a different speech subsystem, so maybe NVDA has placed itself lower. Are you playing Reaper through an audio interface/mixer, or your own soundcard?

reaper just slowed down after nvda update

Hi everyoneapparently, reaper has decided it was fast enough and has become very laggy after installing the latest NVDA Update. it's not bad when doing things, (E.G. playing, processing and stuff) but navigation truly sucks! I have to wait for half a second for the next item shortcut to work, same with tracks. I don't think It's reaper though, because when I press the space button for playing, reaper starts playing immediately, but NVDA announces it after half a second.this has happened to me before, but NVDA wasn't the problem back then, I didn't find out what caused it, so I restored my pc back with a system restore and It just got fixed. Now the problem is back, and it started with NVDA update. Any ideas?
